Waiting until the lobby got full as this happened quite often I walked to the grand staircase with a glass of champagne. With two taps of the glass the men, women and even gangsters of the city looked in my direction.

"Hello everyone, first off I want to thank you all for keeping this place thriving. I have a business matter to discuss and I thank you for your attention. Some of you may have heard that a friend of mine Tom_Shelby has opened a business from within this very hotel. Place is called Shelby Loan-"

I was about to say loansharking but stopped in case there were feds in the crowd.

"Shelby Loans. 7th floor anyone needs a loan for any reason I recommend stopping in his office to speak more about it. Now as owner of the hotel I am backing Mr. Shelby and we run the business 50/50. All loans are confidential and discussed privately. Now before I let you all get back to what you were doing as I don't want to take up to much of your time I am going to pass things off to Mr. Shelby so he can explain a few more things. One last thing, when Tom is done talking any questions people have will be answered. Thank you for your time I will now pass thing off to Tom.

I step down from the grand staircase and motion for Tom to get on the stairs to speak as I watch and wait to see what he has to say.

Tom steps up and looks down at the small crowd.

''Ladies and Gentlemen. Today I am here to ask you what is the one thing we cannot live without. No it is not food it is not water, its not sex. Its not drugs and its not fun. Its the thing that makes all these things possible. Money''

Tom paused to let what he just said sink in.

"As said by KL we are offering a loan to YOU. Money is the thing that got you to where you are and money will keep you going. Oh and its the eighth floor not the seventh''

Tom laughed before stepping fowered to address the crowd again.

''If there are any questions please feel free to ask''

Putting my hand up I reply quickly

"Sorry everyone I may have had one to many. Wrong floor in my own hotel haha".

"We have all done it KL, I cant remember the last time I hadn't drank too much"

Jack Sparrow opens his bottle of rum and drink some, he then looks around.

"You want any?"

Jack Sparrow offers KL the bottle of rum.
