Duplicity sat at a table with quite a few people who sat around it with her. She looked up at them and just went straight into it.

Many of you are probably wondering what brought on these events. I don't plan to go into a lot of detail, but I will give you the gist of things. 

There were quite a few resources coming forward with info about Oblivion planning to remove me and take Chicago as his own. This was something I could not ignore. Also with the removal of Babo, bodyguard shots began the very next day. Only to find out that at least one, if there were not more, of the shooters came from JohnHartman's crew. Not only that but an upper structure from another city was warned about rogues to come, as if it seemed planned, and that they needed to bodyguard up. This info came straight from Technical. Te next thing you know there is a hit list on me and a pop shot happening of which the culprit who did those also came from these very same crews.

All in all after I began to add everything up, a diary of mine once reminded me and taught me not to ignore these signs. I acted before such history could repeat its self.

Duplicity stood up from the table and nodded to those who listened. She had said all she planned to say and left those there to yell, agree, and throw insults how they felt fit.

Yeah that pretty much sums it up.

They were going to kill you in a few more days, a week or two at most, trust me.  Way to catch them first.

I've no idea how someone can say they 'were not real'. Duplicity's members received messages of her BG's being shot, Duplicity had statements of her BG's being shot at.

You can argue who was behind it, but to flat out deny it was happening is kind of silly.

"Thank you Godmother for giving a speedy and to the point speech about your reasoning. I would also like to say rest in peace to the fallen. I sincerely hope your ancestors will want to join the good life again"

Sinfest, not wanting to say to much and missing a few of his friends was still very happy his family was still around. He tips his hat to Duplicity before heading back to business as usual mode. 

Being beady eyed despite my advancing years, I witnessed the bodyguard shooting first hand. I can therefore confirm with absolute certainty that said bodyguard attacking did take place and was not invented.

I'm a little puzzled on Foyuif's intentions though as that all seems rather harmless in my opinion.

To expect there wouldn't be any reaction following an attack or attacks against bodyguards is one thing. The stand there and claim these attacks are completely fabricated stories is something else. I witnessed first hand several of these incidents, but I thank you for your opinion regardless.

Right or wrong, that depends which side of the fence you find yourself on, as is often the case when we lose crew leaders in our walk of life.

I'm glad to see Duplicity come out and explain events from her point of view and the reasoning behind her actions. It is extremely easy to sit back and watch events unfolding before your eyes. It takes something else to make the big decisions and pull the trigger to keep your crew safe, I see last nights actions as an example of this.

Karmen wiped her eyes and began speaking, "In lieu of all of this happening, I just want to say rest in peace to all the fallen. Despite all of the arguing and bitterness and everything, some good people were lost and I'll cherish my time spent in Renacer."

I am not normally one to come out to the streets to bitch. And even though that isn't really what I'm doing, I'm sure it will be called that. But it's hard to stand by and see some of those under Made killed, that were hardly even around, whilst you let others live that were over Made. It reflects poorly on your choices and capabilities. My two cents anyway.

Thank you for that thoughtful insight Dillon. I don't know how I'd ever have gone on without it. I'm pretty sure I'm well aware of how things work in crazy times. I'm just commenting on how distasteful some of the choices look. Your comments don't change my opinion one bit.

Cassiopeia, I'm not sure if you're missing a part of your brain or maybe you're just a tad bit slow. A capo from an established district responded to what I call shit coming out your mouth, and yet, you have the nerve to be a smart ass when he approached you with respect. Do you even understand how things work around here? Maybe if you didn't paint your world so black and white, you'll be able to see things alot clearer.

Hard to stand by what? Mobsters getting shot during a war? People utilizing their connections to survive? Maybe you should pursue a different life, like driving around an ice cream truck.

Please refrain from making silly comments that suggest mental retardation where my family is concerned please Psychopath, you are 'of rank' and should know better than to throw insults across the streets at another city's member. Cassiopeia is not her mother, they are walking different paths in completely different cities,  so you really don't need to talk down your nose to her. If you had/have a problem with her mother, please bury that grudge now that she is under my wing.

Hearing you telling her she should maybe be pursuing an occupation as a driver of a mobile vendor is downright insulting to the whole recruitment process of my family.
