| Its a Great Day for Hockey | Started by: William_S_Harley on Sep 29, '15 18:51 |

As an avid ice hockey fan and weekly attempts at being an actual player, I wanted to start something to talk about the upcoming NHL season as well as any other leagues. I know there is a worldwide presence around here and it would be pretty cool to hear firsthand about some leagues around the world, and of course argue who is better. Also, if you're a Toronto Maple Leafs fan, sucks to be you! Just kidding, kind of..... :-P ~GO WINGS~ |

I have great aspirations for your Wings, a young very talented team. Alas I'm a Flyers fan so i hope we continue to crush you guys at home this season ;) |

Genesis, as long as we both beat the penguins, I have no gripes with you good sir. Flyers used to be my "other" team until the wings moved to the east. |

Why would a wings fan have an issue with the pens? lol |

William, we can agree one at least one thing. Here's to sweeping the season series once again, the Pens have nothing to gripe about for the future so it'll be fun. |

The Pens certainly do have nothing to complain about for the future seeing as they're in Vegas' top 6 to win the cup, not sure what was meant by that comment so I'll just have to ask when's the last time you won a cup? 1975? But you did beat us every time we played in the meaningless regular season last year... so congrats on winning all those points against us and still managing to be a bottom feeder. |

| Hey sorry on the delay on my answer. I've been out of town for some family stuff. The Wings won a cup in 08 against the pens. They did lose to them in the finals the next year. So two years in a row in the finals can create a rivalry. I'm just messing around, no need to get worked up! | |

Yeah Dillon, that hossa fella was a curse until he went to chicago and road that band wagon to the top! (cue the angry hawks fans) |

I love hockey but sadly unless I want to become a fan of the Sharks(no thanks), my viewing options are sporadic. There's always Game Center, but, that shit is expensive. Last year I was able to get it cheaper by waiting until the season was halfway over, so, I might try that again. Although since MLBAM took over running GameCenter Live, I'm not sure that will happen this year. They used to do installments but now the only other option is monthly or paying yearly for a specific team membership. |
