They don't have to; nobody can force them, but there is a reason most usually do. Namely, because it typically makes them seem more reasonable and trustworthy and therefore less likely to be attacked by their neighbours out of paranoia down the line. The other bonus is that people respect those who explain their actions and speak intelligently in the streets. At least I do, anyway.

I would say there is nothing that earns my own respect more, Credits.

As one of LV leaders,we were aware that probably we will go down,why?

Because our city head was very paranoid guy,with no balls,who left his city without word

and he is only person that I m mad at,he killed lot of Vegas guys just because he though that they have

big inaff gun to take him down!That is low in my opinion

next,he could say

"guy we are in trouble,they are going to take as down"we could fight,we were not so small

and I know that all this came for LV/LA guys shooting at CH/DT guys,but you should think again who shooted,some guys

from LV got some W/S,if it was up to me I would vote for killing Seph

If you're mad at Seph for abandoning his city, shouldn't you be equally mad at Doll for abandoning her district? The district that your father (or grandfather?) was a part of, as her underboss even.

I agree with Carol. There may have been some in LA that agreed to stand down and watch their sister city die, however, I can assure you that even if every city member was informed they were not in harms way there were some, including my mother, that would never stand by and do nothing just to save themselves.  

From what I understand, unsponsored members of murdered family heads were allowed haven in to LV families. Let me ask you guys a question... What should be the VERY FIRST thing done when accepting a member from a fallen leaders family from another city? Considering that these people are auto demoted to below Made Man now, the first thing you do is remove their weapon from them and make sure there is no other way for them to obtain one other than by doing crimes. -Jono

You are correct Jono, the very first thing should be to take their weapon away IF their new leader wanted to render them helpless. The very first thing a loyal leader does when he takes in someone from his sister city is to promote them and give them auth to shoot. There were no mistakes made, letting them keep their gun was intentional not an oversight.

I believe that most war victims are questioning the initial reasoning for the war not the mid war thought process of the attacking leaders. I could be wrong, but that's how I see it.

I understand that many question Seph's abrupt departure, if you knew him you would know that it is out of character for him to do something like that. He had his reasons, very legitimate personal reasons so please drop the subject.

StinkEye, I realise that now after I have been informed that it was always meant to happen that way. In which case, yes you are correct. 

Like you have said there, it depends on what part the inviting leader is playing in that particular war.
