An Ever Changing Future Started by: Duplicity on Oct 11, '15 20:17

Duplicity had rented out four moving trucks. She had quite the few people moving about and things were a little hectic. First, arriving at Heartbreakridge's office she helped him pack up. He seemed quite excited over the chance at his own business and family that runs it.

"Now, you know I am right down the street. Should you need anything just let me know, okay?"

He looked at her and smiled. He had done so much for her and continued to do so. She could never thank him enough.

"You speak like you're my mother. I will be fine and thank you for this opportunity to open up shop. I won't let you down."

She chuckled and nodded.

"Sometimes I feel like a momma bear, sorry if I act like one."

She didn't have much time, but quickly had the other moving trucks delivered to Koehler and Joey. She was proud to know they would be moving to Las Vegas. Koehler had informed Duplicity that Joey would be taking Summerlin as his own. She believed they would help Las Vegas prosper.

"Hello dear, I have the trucks here to help you out."

Koehler smiled and thanked her.

"You're too kind. Thank you for this opportunity for us. We will do our best."

Duplicity hugged them both and then had one more truck to drop off.

With the move of Koehler and Joey she was now helping Mibbit move to North Side, where she would take Godfather. She was an eager woman who strived to do her best. Duplicity felt great joy seeing how excited she was for this opportunity.

"You will do great. I am sure of it."

Mibbit looked a little nervous, but she had a smart head on her shoulders and good people backing her.

"Thank you. Thank you very much!"

They smiled at each other and then began to load the truck up. She would soon be on her way.

Overall she knew everyone would make their moves at their own time, but everyone was going to be off at some time today. She would make sure to be there to wave goodbye. Even though some weren't moving too far.

He watched as the moving trucks rolled into town. He wasn't going to stay long, not with most of his friends gone, but he wanted to see his cousin's city have a new start, before he left for New York.

"Take care of this city," He murmured. "She's  a good thing; take care of her, and she'll take care of you."

Teeth glinting in a remorseful smile, he squared his shoulders and moved on. He'd be back someday, but not this day.

Thank you for your faith in me, our Queen Bee.  As long as North Side is standing, you won't ever have to worry about your back.
