Dub walked down the street to his new establishment. It was opening day after many renovations had been performed. Dub had to close the hotel for a week in order for all of the renovations to be made. He walked to the front doors and put his key in the door and turned. He opened the door and was awestruck.

Symmetry was running rampant in the decor of the hotel. Red carpets, marble stairs, and ironwork railings. The stairs were straight ahead as he stepped through the door. They went up and curled off in two opposite directions at a landing. Face-height at the landing were 3 sets of windows designed beautifully with arches atop them. Off to the right in the lobby was the new lounge. From inside a voice could be heard echoing throughout the entire hotel. A beautiful voice of a woman already singing and warming up for the day... Accompanied by a piano that sat just off the stage. Wood flooring was throughout the lounge with leather chairs and a clean bar. More drinks than Dub could count sat on the wall as the bartender was cleaning shot glasses and wiping the bar down. Dub sat in the lounge for a bit before continuing his tour of the new building.

He stepped back out into the lobby and noticed a couple lobby boys ready to take bags for anyone who stepped through the doors. They were dressed up to the next in dark green suits and white gloves. Two 'columns' of buttons rose from their waists up to their shoulders. The only skin that was visible was their face. Dub began walking up the Grand Staircase and up to the second floor. He grazed his hand on the iron railing admiring it. He stepped into his new office. Dark hardwood floors, a rich mahogany desk with brass handles sat atop a rug with a rolling leather chair on the other side. A small lamp sat on top of the desk along with other papers and books that were scattered across it. 

"I guess I do own a business now... I got work to do." 

It was nice and toasty in his office. One of the maids had started a small fire in the fireplace off to Dub's left. The occasional popping of the burning wood made Dub relax as he sorted through many papers...

It had been a long first day. Many customers walked through the doors and it was very busy... Dub realized he needed a General Manager of sorts. He sat the help wanted sign outside on the sidewalk for everyone to see.

It read: "Help Wanted! General Manager needed at the new Elegance Hotel! Interviews granted upon request! Everyone is welcome! Contact Mr. Dubliner for interview!"

Dub walked back up to his office and awaited for a phone call from the front desk informing him of any interviews.
