Sibilo comes out to the streets looking rather tired and out of it. "I would like to point out that my earlier inputs on this topic do not count towards anything, you see I went to the doctors earlier and he gave me some strange sort of medicine, I decided to take some and thus a made two hours happened to be honest. I would like to apologise for my antics, this sort of thing should not be encouraged and I am ashamed of myself. That is all." |

Approaches LessThan with anger in her eyes. You should know how much I value these streets. Even when they are being filled up with idiotic shit, at least I could remind myself that my own crew was contributing to the nonsense only minimally, if at all. Apparently I was incorrect. There are some who possess limited minds or language capabilities and though they try hard, struggle to produce works of quality. This, however, is not one of those cases. This is lazy at best and aggressively stupid and insulting at worst. If you're bored and have money to give away for some reason I KNOW you could have come up with something better. I would have been happy to help you, if you were hurting for ideas. If you have a well thought out story to tell, then these are your streets- after all, the cops cannot hear us here and I've certainly heard many an amusing or tragic story from someone else in the business in many bars over many years. If you have a question you believe needs an answer, or a debate that you believe needs to be discussed, or some issue that must be addressed... then these are your streets. But the streets are not a place for lazy, stupid, ignorant banter, insane references to things that are better discussed on OOC avenue, or incoherent rambling of your adventures. I expect much more from my Made Men, LessThan. Which is why you will no longer hold that rank. That is something that you would have to earn back from me. |

Kates as you already know, I came to the streets to bring a little excitement on a sad day. Just making an attempt to bring joy to others and all of that fun stuff. I do agree that this contest idea was quickly put together and poorly built but it was just to give things a start. I was working on another contest which pertained to writing out an essay of what you would benefit from 1 million dollars and was going to send 1,000,000 to the 3 best entries and post them here in the streets for all to see. No worries, it will not be meeting the streets. Sorry for those of you who had to bare witness to such a "monstrosity", I will be on my way. |

If I were choosing anyone to be most embarrassed here, I would easily select Cedric. As a Left Hand Man to a New Orleans crime family and a mafioso prominently wearing his Made Man suit, his additions of "12" and "13" served as a shockingly poor example for the world at large. Is this what we are coming to as a community? Should I feel free to show up in any Street conversation, throw out two numbers of gibberish, and calmly walk away like nothing has happened? Better yet, should I be REWARDED for my efforts in doing so? If that's the standards you are setting for either yourself OR your family, I'm easily disappointed. |

I do believe Cedric was making the same point as the rest of you. This contest was a stupid idea and he proved it by showing the easy way through it all |

There is no excuse for being an idiot. You either accept the consequence or you don't. This is the worst kind of stupid spam that I've spent my life fighting against, and I will never accept it. You other idea, at least, required a modicum of thought- I wish you'd chosen that one instead. |

This idiotic contest has turned into a bedside vigil I think. It seems, the ways of old are dying; if not dead. Let us all gather and watch the last embers of respectability burn out. |

I was going to jump in and talk about the blatant crap cheating that went on to win this contest... but to be honest I think karma took care of this problem in the end. Enjoy that million, Cedric. ...Oh wait. Marietta makes a slanty face. |

Admittedly that was pretty amusing, but I think anyone chastising others for trying to get $1,000,000 for doing virtually nothing is being ridiculous. If I'd have seen this I'd have tried to get a million for nothing other than turning up. ~T~ |

Wow....What a way to go. I would assume, just from looking at the poster LessThan put up, that this contest was recommended for the lower level mobsters who needed the money most. Where he went wrong was by not stating that on the poster. As you can see all the high rankers stuck their nose in and kilt his idea from the beginning. Which leaves the low life gangsters like myself a million dollars less fortunate. Everyone is so quick to shoot down someones idea, they don't give it a chance at success from the beginning. Here's another said case. Sometimes I think people just sit back waiting to do so. Ow well, back to the long outragous short stories that block all the allies and trash the streets. *walks around some trash * |
