Delvin walked down the alleyway and saw the scrawny coke-fiend standing by himself. 'Great... This fucking guy.' Delvin thought to himself as he approached. Wearing a long black trench coat and a black driver's hat Delvin walked up to the man and stared at him from under the bill of his hat. 'D-Delvin! Heya man, how, how ya doin? Business good? Gotta be good right? Always good for Delvin, right? So, look man, you uh, you uh got my stuff? I uh, haven't had my fix since-' The addict stopped, noticing that his dealer was still staring him down, his eyes piercing through him. Usually the transaction would've been done by now. But today was different. The coke-head tried to stumble out another rant when he was cut off. 'Shut the fuck up...' Delvin said bluntly. Taking a moment before saying his next words. 'I'll say this nice and slow so you understand... Where, is, my, money?..' He asked, in reference to an incident last week when a kid Delvin had dealing for him sold the addict some coke on credit. He stood and waited for a reply. 'R-right... yo-you're money, you mean Kevin Owens' money right?' The addict said, trying to make a joke with a half-assed laugh. Delvin growled to himself quietly and stepped closer. 'This ain't a fuckin' joke. You owe ME, money. Therefor, you owe KevinOwens' money. And I, will be very, very upset. If you don't have that money on you right fuckin' now.' The man started to step backwards, cowering under Delvin's towering figure. Tears started to form in his eyes as he fell against a wall and down to his ass, sitting in a rain puddle as he started to plead. 'Delvin, p-please man. I ain't got you're money now, I'm sorry okay!? I'll get it next week! I swear to God man, I'll do anything, any work for the family? Anything you need, I'll do it please... Just... Just let me-' He was cut off again as Delvin struck him acrossed the face with the back of his hand. 'You think you're worthy of working for the family?... You are nothing... A worthless piece of shit, just taking up space... I wouldn't even let you unclog my shitter for free. And you think I'm gonna let you work for MY boss?' The man was crying, begging, pleading Delvin for another way out. He didn't understand that Delvin's mind was made up since he walked into the alley. Delvin stared down at the man and shook his head as he pulled out his gun. More crying, more begging, as Delvin shoved the barrel of the 38. revolver down the man's throat and said. 'Shut up...' His finger squeezed the trigger, the gun fired and blew the addict's skull all over the brick wall behind him. The body didn't flinch as it slumped over on it's side, a pool of dark crimson forming on the ground as the rain intensified. Delvin cleaned the gun off with his kerchief and stuffed it back in his coat. He turned around where the kid that sold the man the drugs was watching, staring at the body in shock. Delvin walked over to his young employee and said. 'That, is why we don't sell drugs on credit... Now come on, I'll buy you lunch.' The two walked out of the alley and back to the streets. |

Miss Niki stood watching from the shadows.. her heart swelled with pride as she watched Delvin take care of business. She was convinced that she made the right move when she hired him. He was eager to work, and even more eager to learn. He was quickly becoming one of the top earners for Nexus. She would reward Delvin - because he deserved it. She turned up her nose with disdain at the drug user - When will they learn to just sell it, not use it.. Some would never learn that lesson, and then needed to be care of, because there is NOTHING free in this world. |
