| Crime Scene Cleaner | Started by: Money-B on Oct 20, '15 19:29 |

I wanted to put forward an idea for another “character type” Right now we have:
Hitters Proers Intel Stealth Some are improvement based others are what they are when your born. My suggestion is for a Cleaner someone who gets rid of the body – and all evidence leading back to the crime. I will first start with an example of how it would work in its crudest form. Mobster A being Hitter – B being Victim – C being Cleaner… Mobster A reaches out to Mobster C to coordinate a hit on Mobster B A and C fly to B’s location A wacks B and C immediately (within 1 minute) “Cleans the scene” . Result (Success) – No WS is produced – No Body is found ie Funeral mentions a closed casket and vigil to signify that it was a murder/hit that was cleaned. Result (Unsuccessful) – WS is produced under existing schematics but for both the hitter and cleaner.
This is realistic and strategic in a few manners: No one really leaves a body around unless deliberately sending a public message. It allows Hitters a way to practice without every shot being monitored by the world around them. It actively involves more people in the family. It gives people other options to grow and improve in without being a hitter/pro/intel officer
You can say we have stealth already and this is what it is “possibly” roleplayed out as. If that is true, then make this function in association with Stealth Skills. It can be trained on MIA’s and Durd’s if they can coordinate with a family hitter etc. So it can build in a +1 manner just like your Wack Skills. This is just a crude view of it a lot would have to be hammered out. |

| I really like it or if someone catches the Ws they can go to the profile and try to "clean" up the scene. But there should be more character types around. | |

Sneaker -
People will always use different things to their advantage - But take the Rogue for instance, it would take more coordination and moving parts if they utilized this. Plus it would double the risk of getting caught, if the clean didn't succeed it would kick two WS instead of one. One showing the hit and one showing the attempted clean.
BG - would be a mute point as BG's don't create bodies to clean. This would be for hardline bodies only IE: RIA MIA Durds Accounts etc.
But imagine the ability this creates to farm out hit's to third party "Hitmen" - for example in prohibition it was common for a boss in one city to reach out to a hitman or independent contractor to take down a target they didn't want to be associated with. Of course their is a risk of it blowing up in your face as with all things. But this creates another means for people to work with each other to achieve a common goal. Gives people active rolls to play instead of dormant and gives another option in a way to support the family or bring in money etc. |

no reason to add something else they can use to their advantage. Rogues know they are eventually going to get shot. They are beyond caring. Something like this that reduces their risk is a gift. I'm not for giving rogues anymore gifts than they already have. |

| you cant deny a game suggestion because it may benefit someone who chooses to play the game differently than you | |

I can be not for anything I wish. It doesn't mean anyone must agree with me. I am voicing my opinion. It's what people do on suggestions. |

Sneaker, you are right you can voice but by your logic - stealth should be done away with, buying out of your crew, purchasing a HQ with appropriate consent etc. Part of this game is designed to dare those with the sack enough to try and take power their own way.
The term Rogue is defined by the winner, as wars are painted by the winners brush etc.

What I said is they do not need anymore gifts than they have. You've twisted my words into something ridiculous and not what I said at all. Those who wish to seek power, to change things, are more than capable of doing it under the existing conditions. It happens time and time again. Is your proposal due to you wanting more tools to make change? I don't see a dormant feature. I see an attempt to put a new feature in that isn't needed. WS are buried around here all the time. Another way is not needed. |

Let me also say, I have voiced my opinion and I have nothing further to say. Please read what I write and don't read into what I write adn twist it. |

I was not twisting your words simply applying your logic to each of the other features that serve multiple purposes including supporting rogue activity. Take away stealth in the form it is now and make it into a more actively progressed faeture vrs a dormant one. So if you are on stealth you are a crime cleaner. Hitters instead of starting out on stealth now need to actively find a cleaner to try and hide their crime. The timers are the same so if you wack you cant clean and if you clean cant wack... I am talking about adding a feature that gets more people actively involved in a particular crime instead of it being a 1 person job. |
