Pure Paradise Hotel and Casino, 5pm
As I sat back and waited for Red to show I ordered him a steak well done as he requested. I opened the bottle of red wine that I ordered a few minutes prior and poured myself a glass. After taking a sip I notice Red emerge through the entrance of the restaurant, Looking at my watch I notice he is right on time. The waiter walks him over to the table and seats him. After Red chooses what he wants to drink I begin to speak. "Right on time!... impressive yet again. I know we are waiting for our food but I will get to the point...I been doing some thinking lately and I need to shape things up a bit here. Now that job you did... you pulled it off and it was no easy task. As you know I am a business man and this business right now is thriving. As long as it thrives then the family thrives, understand?." Red nods as the waiter comes to the table with his drink and our food. "All that said I need someone here with me to make a statement. Someone who can put this place on the map permanently. I want to bring you in as an enforcer!... for me personally. Someone gets out of line here they deal with you. I don't care what it is if you sense anything wrong in here you deal with it your way. Now before we talk figures and details I need to make sure your interested. So tell me what do you think?. Redrum...the face of fear at the Paradise." I take a bite of my chicken and wait for Red's answer. |

I Stare KL Dead in the eyes, as he takes a chunk out of his foob I Begin to speak. "The Face of fear, Ha! I Like it," I Take a sip of my drink and take off my hat before I carry on talking. "So long as im here, you wont have anyone step out of line. And if they do, I'll have to introduce them to betty, if they see betty, it'll be the last thing they see before the flash" I Take a bite out of my steak and await KL's responce. |

"Sounds like your interested... good to hear. As of this moment your are the enforcer of The Paradise, You are the eyes and ears of the entire establishment." I pull out an envelope from my coat pocket and slide it to Red. "25k inside...I will also pay for each job you do for me personally, And anybody you deal with inside the hotel you will be compensated for... and damages will be covered by me as well. Your job is to make sure people know not to fuck with the place and to make your presence known here in Vegas!. This all sound good to you?... you have any other request's?." |

"Sounds all good, but one request, A room in the basement, sound proof, only two sets of keys, one for me one for You, hows that sound?" I Pick up the envelope and slide it in my coat pocket. I Take a few more bites of my steak and wipe my mouth with the napkin, I Pick up my drink and take two sips. "Oh and another thing, give the chef my compliments, that steak was real good." |
