I always line up with usin our BGs more effective..Here is a new idea ;

in Mafia , a Hitman never goes for his victim's bodyguards. a BG-kill only makes sense when a BG jumps in front of the bullets to protect his Boss. So there of , i find it a bit nonsense tryin to wack someone's bodyguards..i try to wack you , but instead , in the gun-battle , i wack 5 of your bodyguards and you survive..this may be added as a new feature in to the game..

 If this doesnt make any sense to you , at least we have to be able to assign our bodyguards on a wack-mission ... lets say im a Godfather , so why should i waste my time to wack ( unless the target is a highrank ) .. instead , i would send my bodyguards to do it :)

Would you not just send a member of your hitsquad to take on this "wack-mission".

Well in this game someone correct me if am wrong but members of the Hitsquad are not actual hitmen but rather "enforcers". Where hitmen will have a lot of "equipment" for their job i.e sniper rifles and automatic weapons. Where in this game there is one type of gun its just to you to train it. So as enforcer with one type of gun commonly thought of as a pistol your going to have to get into range and shoot at said person's BGs if your gun is not strong enough to shoot through the BGs.

honestly , i would not send a member of my hitsquad for that mission .. i would do it myself since i want to be one of the best guns in game :)

Fabrizio, your ideas clearly look for more realism briught into the game, but somehow it doesn't seem realistic to kill 5 BGs with one shot.

And it does make sense to clear the BGs before taking the shot. It's harder to take a shot the more people are moving around the target and the more people your target can hide behind.
