Because we are nearing Halloween, I got a question. Whats your opinion on the scariest video game of all time? The scariest I ever played were Condemned (just beat it like 15 minutes ago ) and F.E.A.R. I heard Silent Hill 2 is the scariest game of all time. and please dont say resident evil 4, that game isnt scary at ALL!!!!!!

I heard this also happened with 'Super Mario Brothers'... but then again, talking mushrooms and italians jumping into sewer pipes would freak anyone out.

Well it's not a game but a leval. Gears of War. The third leval. When the monster who chases you and you have to take him outside to kill him. That part is FUCKIN scary. LOL

Dead Space

I locked my self in a small room with no lights, at 3am one night played for half hour they heard me screaming miles away, now i only play at day time.

Well I remember the original silent hill being scary when I was little as well as the Alien's games on the original PS. Probably because the graphics were so bad the only way you could tell the difference between an alien and the shadow was a small silver outline that would appear now and then. Kinda was creepy when your being attacked and can't turn very quickly.

As a kid I used to be terrified of Resident Evil.

Doom 3 on the PC all lights in teh house off and listen to it through headphones rather than your pc speakers. the kids crying will freak the shit outta you

Doom's always been kind of a fun game for me- I was playing the first one back when I was 10.  Find it hard to get scared when it's just always been there.  ;)

The Silent Hill games are obv. scary, and I agree with Aeolus- as a kid (and maybe a young adult... okay fine, up until a year ago- assholes) I was afraid of Resident Evil.  :/

Left 4 Dead, but only when you play it the first time alone at 3AM in the morning. Then you get used to the zombies. :]

Resident evil 1 when your stuck in a save room and have 3 bullets left and a hunter outside the door ready to chop you to pieces...never got past that part :(

When I played Siren Blood Curse, I was so scared of the Hospital, and the doctor's house, especially when i played as Bella.

yea I played Silent Hill the very first one for the ps1 when I was 8 and I played it for like a minute and cut it off because I saw giant pools of blood and I heard strange sounds and I haven't played it since not because I'm still scared just because I'm not interested

yeah I played resident evil 1 when I was like 10 and I didnt know you had to press a button to raise your gun then another to shoot, thought it was all one button. It was on someones saved game so you walked around the corner and there was a hunter. Did it like 20 times and each time the hunter slowly turned round, walked towards me really slowly and gutted me whilst i messed around with the controls like an epileptic. Still have nightmatmares about that one fucking hunter.
