On this date in 1916, Georgia Tech beat Cumberland 222-0 in football -- the most lopsided game in NCAA history. Tech scored 32 touchdowns, ran the ball for 978 yards and did not attempt a pass. Amazingly, neither team made a first down because Tech scored within four downs on every possession. |
