As I sit, and look back on my life it's hard not to wonder how different it could of been. I could of been a Doctor, hell, maybe even a Lawyer; god knows I had the brains for it. However, that wasn't the case as I've come to learn that life is uncertain, and the path we take isn't always at our own volition. Sometimes destiny, or faith, or whatever you want to call it, plays a larger role then you'd think. I'm getting ahead of myself though, so I'll start from the beginning. I immigrated to the United States at a young age, with my Father, Mother, and my older Sister, a normal Italian family, trying to chase the American dream. We lived in a two bedroom row home, in NorthEast Philadelphia, about 10 minutes from the Tacony Palmyra Bridge. I was gifted with intelligence, which allowed me to progress through school, and an uncanny rate. I got good grades, stayed out of trouble, and did your normal, run of the mill, kid activities. Life was care-free, I had a loving family that looked after me, and I was on the track to making something of myself, as my Mother constantly nagged and pushed me to do. Isn't that all Mothers though? However, as I said before, things don't always work out as you had planned, and I would learn that the hard way. At the age of 9, is when I learned just how quick life can take a turn on you, and it was the start of a new journey, one I never imagined embarking on. My father was a "business man," as my mother would always say when I asked her, what he did for a living. He was gone every night until the early hours of the morning, and he always had to travel for his "business meetings," however he did always manage to get home in time to make my sister and I breakfast, providing he was in the city. After a while, I started meeting some of the men my father worked with, and they were always introduced, as Uncle so and so, or an old friend, or something to that nature. This struck me as odd, since we had no family in the States, and it being the first time I met these men, I couldn't understand how they were considered old friends. The curiousity of a child is amazing, and given enough time, they can figure anything out, just as I did. It didn't take long to understand I didn't have the typical, working man, as a father; I knew there was something more to him, something alluring and captivating, something the other Dad's didn't have. When we went out, he was always treated with the utmost respect. We never waited for a table, as a matter of fact, we never waited in any line. The street vendors, would always go out of their way to greet him, and would give us free fruit, or veggies, or whatever they were peddling from time to time. It was the life, and for a 9 year old, it was all I could dream of...being like my father, although I didn't know what that entailed. Two months before my 10th birthday, my father came home one night, and he looked shaken, which was unusual to see. My father was the type of man, that could keep his calm, even in the face of impending doom. So to see this, this great man, clearly shaken to the core, I knew it had to be serious. He came into the kitchen where my mother, sister, and I sat, and he took my mother into the living room. I didn't hear what was said, but when my mother ran upstairs crying, I knew something was wrong. He then entered the kitchen again, sat down beside me, and looked me straight in the eye, and began to speak in an almost eerie tone. "Son, I need you to listen to me, just listen, no questions, no arguing, just sit and listen to your old man. I have to go away for a while, I can't tell you why, and I can't tell you where, I can only tell you I have to leave. I expect you to be the man of the house while I'm gone, and to take care of your mother and your sister. Hopefully, it won't be long, and I'll be back in time for your birthday, you know I wouldn't miss it for the world. Don't worry about your old man, I'll be ok, just promise me you'll look after the family." The look on his face had me scared to death, I didn't understand why he had to leave, or why I had to be the man of the house, but I knew better then to ask. I couldn't find the strength to speak, it was as if my throat was being crushed by a vice grip, so I simply nodded, all the while staring into my fathers eyes, hoping to find some answers there. With that he stood up, and kissed me on the head, he then went to my sister and gave her a kiss, and made his way to the door, before leaving he turned back, and said the last words I ever heard him say. "I love you two, you're my world, my heart, you're the reason I live, and whatever you may hear about me, don't believe it. Remember me as your father, remember me for the good." With that he left, and I wasn't sure, but I could of sworn I saw a tear in his eye. The next time I heard about my father was on the news, when they found his body stuffed in the trunk of an abandoned car, just off the I-95 ramp, by the airport. He had been shot twice in the heart and once in the head for good measure. His hands and feet were bound, and he was gagged, and that was how my father died. It destroyed me, it brought upon a rage I had never felt before, a part of me I never knew existed, something inside me snapped, and it would forever alter my life as I would come to find out. The next few years, I hung out with the wrong crowd, slacked off in school, and did whatever I needed to make a few dollars. I joined up with a local neighborhood gang, called "the Niners," and quickly grew from purse snatching to Armed Robberies. It was around the time of my 15th birthday, I met one of my fathers old business associates, known to me as Uncle Vito. He took me in instantly, made sure I was alright, and even gave my mother money on a weekly basis. After a few months of running with Vito's crew, he sat me down, and told me about my father. Told me about the man he was, when he left our house, as if he had a double identity, not known to his family. I learned he was a top mafioso, a well respected man, an old school player, in what Vito called, "this thing of ours." I learned about his rise, to the top, and then I learned about his tragic fall. He had scammed a few people, the type of people you don't just get away from. That was what had sealed his faith, and I could see the pain on Vito's face, as he brought up this old memories. I learned who had ordered the kill, as well as, who carried it out. I was devastated, and from that moment on, my only thought was vengence, to get back at the men, that took my father from me. To repay the pain I felt, the pain my sister and my mother felt, to repay the loss of a family member. It didn't take long to figure out the routines of these men, as I spent many a day, just watching and waiting. Keeping track of their every move, getting their schedule down to a science, and planning the perfect time to extract my revenge. The time finally came, that following Friday, I had acquired myself a gun, a .357 snub nose revolver, which I carried in my waist band, and made my way to where the first target would be. It was a little tavern, known as the Sheffield, and it was located on Castor and Sheffield st. hence the name. I waited outside in the parking lot for what seemed like an eternity, and at 1:45 am, my mark exited the bar. He stumbled towards his car, and I stepped out of mine, retreiving the pistol from my waist. He then suddenly stopped, I froze, thinking the worst, and tried to make it look as if I was fiddling for my keys. He then turned about, and made his way to the alley next to the bar, to take a piss, one would have to assume. I couldn't believe my luck, and I jumped on the chance, to get him in a more secluded area. I followed after him, walking briskly, as I pulled my coat tighter, and gripped my pistol, ready for the inevitable. I turned the corner, and sure enough he was leaning on the wall with one arm, as he relieved himself. This was it, this was my chance, and I took it. "Hey, hey mister," I said trying my hardest to keep my voice from shaking, "can you help me, I think I'm lost." "Fuck off kid, can't you see I'm busy," the man replied, without even a glance in my direction. His first mistake I thought, as I raised the pistol to chest level. "Yeah, but I just need to ask you one question." I was shaking like a leaf in the wind at this point, as I had never aimed a gun at another person. However, I was determined to avenge my fathers death, so I couldn't stop now. "What is it kid, what is so fucking important that you can't let me piss in peace, huh?" With that he turned towards me, and the look of shock on his face, said more then a thousand words could. He zipped up his pants, as no man wants to be shot with his dick out, and tried hard not to look shaken. "Whoa kid, I was just joking with the name calling, no need to for the gun, why don't you put that down." He was scared, as was I, but I had started something that I had to finish, there was no turning back. In my steadiest voice I spoke the last words, that man would ever hear. "My name is Nicodemo Scarfo Jr., and you killed my father 5 years ago. I'm here to return the favor to you, you spill blood and blood gets spilled." The look of fear washed away from him, as recognition took it's place, followed by what could only be described as a look of acceptance. I didn't have to wait for anything else after that, I pulled the trigger 3 times, and watched as the man crumpled to the ground, blood spewing from his mouth. I stepped over him, said a silent prayer, and unloaded the other 3 shots into his head. I tossed the gun down a sewer drain, and ran to the car, accelerating at dangerous speeds out of the parking lot, and headed back home. My mind was racing, my heart was beating faster then it ever had, I was sweating, and had a knot the size of a football in my stomach. I had the blood of another man on my hands, I had killed someone, and I couldn't take that back. I got home, went upstairs, and took a hot shower, hoping to wash away the feeling I had. I laid in bed, lit a cigarette, and shut my eyes. That was one down, only 2 left, and I knew I had to act fast. Tomorrow, would be the day I ended it all, the day I got vengence for my father. Although, I knew this was far from the life he had wanted for me, I couldn't help, but think I had made him proud, as I sent one of the sons of bitches to go meet him in the afterlife. Melody standing there captivated by the mafioso's story gave a loud disappointed groan when it cut off midway, she giggles to herself when she noticed people turning to look at her. She moved up closer to Nicodemo Scarfo Jr.. What an excellent read.! Thank you for sharing your story with us, as most of us in this thing of ours can sympathize with stories such as these. |

BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP! It was already 11:00 AM, yet it had felt like I hadn't slept at all. The night was full of horrible dreams, as I tossed and turned in bed. I reached over to my bed side table, and fumbled for the alarm clock; swinging frantically until I was greeted with silence. I lay in bed, and just stared at the ceiling as I tried to sort out the events of the previous night. It wasn't a dream, there was no waking up to a normal existince, I had crossed a line and once crossed there was no way back. I sat up, stretched, and went about getting dressed, as I had another important day ahead of me. I went to the top drawer of my dresser, and retrieved a Zippo lighter and a pack of Newport 100's. I lit a cigarette and went to place the pack back in my drawer when something snagged my attention. It was a picture of my dad, it was taken when I was around 6; he looked so care free, so happy. I took the picture in my hand, and sat on the edge of my bed staring at the picture, as I smoked my cigarette. I finally made my way downstairs, and headed for the kitchen. I doubted if I would even be able to eat, as the knot in my stomach hadn't seemed to vanish overnight. I made myself a cup of coffee, a habit I had picked up at a rather young age, from my father oddly enough. I sat at the table, and was quickly greeted by my mother, in her usual cheery manner. She told me about the bits of gossip, she would usually pick up on her way to the market. The usual list, of who's doing what, and with whom. My mother, bless her heart, was addicted to gossip, if it happened in the neighborhood, you can bet your last dollar my mother knew about. As I finished my coffee I headed to the sink, when my mother said something that caught me off guard. "If you're going out today, please be careful sweetie. I was watching the news this morning, and they found a man shot to death in an alley, not too far from here. They think it's drug related, but you know how I worry." I looked back at her, as she smiled in my direction, flashing me a wink before she got up and exited the kitchen. I leaned back on the kitchen counter, and took a deep breath. It had already made the news...but of course it would of. What was I thinking? They wouldn't find the body filled with lead, laying next to the bar. At least they think it's drug related, I thought to myself, as I headed out to start my day. My first stop was over to Uncle Vito's, as I needed some assistance in my next part of the plan. I parked up outside the small cafe, that served as Vito's front. I made my way inside, greeted the usual faces, and headed to the back office, where Uncle Vito usually resided. I knocked on the door, and was quickly greeted by Tony, Vito's bodyguard and he waved me on inside. I sat down at Vito's desk, and before I had a chance to speak, Vito beat me to the punch. "You're smart kid, a little too smart, but so fucking stupid at the same time. Did you think I wouldn't notice? One of the men involved in your fathers murder wind up, shot to death in an alley, after all this time and you didn't think it would raise my suspicion? I did some looking around, you got yourself a little snubnose the other day, didn't you? Where is it? Ah, what the fuck does it matter?! You've lost your god damned mind, starting this little war of yours! You didn't think how this could end, did you?!" Vito was out of breath by the time he was done ranting and raving; a bead of sweat formed on his forehead, and for a moment I thought his head would explode. I'd seen Vito angry, but never at me, and it was not a side of him I liked being on. I waited a moment before I spoke, as I made sure to choose my words carefully. "I would of told you about this, but I knew you wouldn't let me go through with it. I had to do it, I couldn't just sit by and let those...those fucking scumbags walk around, while my father rots in the ground. I didn't want things to turn out like this, but I had no choice in the matter, this path for me was decided a long time ago. They killed my father, and I will make sure I send each and everyone of them to the after life to meet him!" Vito just stared at me for what felt like forever, he slid open his desk drawer, retrieved a Cuban cigar and lit it. He leaned back in his chair, as he inhaled deeply on the cigar; exhaling slowly. "You got spunk kid, I'll give you that, and I'd be lying if I said I didn't just see your father in you. You got his determination, and you definatley got his temper." He chuckled at that last statement, as he rose from his chair, and made his way across the room to me. He placed his arm around my shoulders, as he walked me towards a double door, steel locker in the back of the office. "You want to go through with this? You want to finish what you started? Then you'll need one of these." He unlocked the locker door, and opened it revealing a small arsenal, enough fire power to wage your own little war. Which coincidently, was what I was in the process of doing. After an hour or so, of checking the merchandise, I had finally made my selections. I had a .45 Desert Eagle, with enough stopping power to disable a truck, and an Uzi; just incase shit got hectic. I glanced at my watch, 6:55 PM, I had exactly 2 hours to get everything ready. I said farewell to Vito, after reassuring him several times, it wouldn't be my body getting discovered in the morning, and headed out. I swung by my house, got something to eat, and went upstairs to don the appropriate outfit needed. I put on a pair of black jeans, a black shirt, a pair of black Timberland boots, and tucked a ski mask in my back pocket. I made a f watch phone calls, securing an alibi, if the need arose for one, and then sat around the house as I killed time. I glanced at my watch, 7:35 PM, it was time. I got in my car, and headed to 59th and Broad St, where my next mark would be. I parked a block away, and made my way up one of the side streets, as I headed to the run down corner store, which the scumbag was using as a "front" if you will. He was a wise guy, which was a surprise when I found out, you'd think after helping kill a top man like my father, he'd of gotten a boost up in the criminal world. Silly prick, I thought to myself, as I arrived at the back of the store. A rusted metal door was slightly cracked, I drew my .45 from my waist, and slowly opened the door. There was a set of concrete steps, that led to a hallway, and a wooden door that stood open. As I made my way up the stairs I could hear some muffled voices escaping from the room, so I steadied the gun in my hand, and approached the door way. There was two men sitting at a desk, facing each other, I couldn't hear what they saying exactly, but they looked to be engaged in their conversation. Enough not to notice me anyway, which was all I needed. I noticed the man closest to the door, as my second mark, given away by the gawdy suits he wore on a regular basis. I couldn't help, but think that this man had no idea what life had in store for him, and although I hadn't counted on another person being there, it didn't complicate things too much. I stood with my back to the wall, and counted to 3, as everything that could happen flashed through my mind. I stepped into the doorway, gun in hand, and aimed at the man sitting closest to me. Everything slowed down, as if the world was thrown into slow motion. I squeezed the trigger once, and struck the man in the shoulder; before he even had a chance to register the pain, I squeezed the trigger again this time striking him in the left eye, spraying whatever brains he had on the wall behind him. With that my attention turned to the man on the other side of the desk, as he raised a gun, and began to fire at me. I ducked out of the room, trying to assess the situation I had gotten myself into. I aimed around the corner, and blindly fired into the room, hoping to hit my mark in the small space. I emptied the clip as a flurry of bullets tore through the room. I sat back against the wall, as I retrieved a clip from my jacket pocket, reloading the gun as fast as I could. I leaned back towards the doorway, and listened for any sound that would give away his position. Nothing...just silence was all I was greeted with, so I slowly entered the room, keeping my gun extended in front of me. It happened so fast, I could barely comprehend it all; I entered the room and before I could react, I was shot in the shoulder. The pain was more intense then anything I had ever felt, it brought tears to my eyes, and made my knees buckle slightly. Without even thinking, I raised my gun in the direction the bullet came from and emptied another clip, completley shredding the man, as the bullets blew holes through his chest and back. I ran as fast as I could down the stairs, and fell out into the alleyway. The pain in my shoulder was blinding, and it felt as if I would pass out before I made my escape. I fought back the tears, and tried to remain upright as I weaved in and out of side streets desperatley trying to get back to my car. As I got to my car, I noticed just how much blood I was losing, my shirt was soaked and clung to my chest as if trying to steal the breath from my lungs. The world started spinning, as the pain finally took over, sending a searing pain through my whole body. I grasped for the handle of the car frantically to steady myself, before I blacked out. The world was growing dark, and right before my vision dimmed for good, I noticed the silhouette of a man, making his way towards me. I barely had a chance to make out who it was, before my eyes closed and I drifted off. It felt as if the earth had opened beneath me and sucked me in, I was falling for what felt like an eternity. I was greeted with the reassuring thud of my body hitting the asphalt, the only thing letting me know I was still alive. The last thing I felt or heard, before I passed out, sprawled out in an alleyway, with a bullet hole in my shoulder. TO BE CONTINUED |

It was dark when I awoke, the only light the room offered, was the glimpse of moon light coming through the window. I was laying in a bed, and at first I thought that everything had been a horrific nightmare. I went to sit up, and was greeted with an excruciating pain in my shoulder. I turned, and placed my feet on the floor, as I tried to figure out where I was. There was a night stand beside the bed, with a pitcher of water, a glass, an ashtray and a clock. It was 4:06 am, judging that the time was right, so I poured myself a glass of water and quickly downed it. I got up, nursing my shoulder as best I could, and hit the light. My shoulder had been bandaged, and by the looks of it, it was professionally done. My clothes were neatly folded on a chair in the corner of the room, and after fumbling through my pants pockets, I retrieved my lighter and cigarettes. I quickly lit one, and inhaled deeply, as I sat down on the edge of the bed. I wasn't dead, and it didn't seem as if I was in danger, so where the hell was I? After I stubbed my cigarette out in the ashtray, I laid back in bed. I was still so tired, and the pain in my shoulder wasn't easing up. Going against my better judgement, I decided that I would go back to sleep, and figure out this mess in the daylight. I laid down, pulling the blankets over me, and drifted quickly off into a less then satisfactory sleep. I hadn't slept well since this all started, everytime I went to sleep, I was greeted with the faces of the men I had killed. Which can really fuck with your sleep, for those that don't know. I woke up to the sun shining through the window, and before I entertained the thought, of it all being a dream, I reminded myself it wasn't. This was life now, and the faster I accepted that, the better of I was. I got up, got dressed, lit a cigarette, and headed for the door. As I went to turn the handle, my attention got drawn to a hat stand, at the other corner of the room. On it was a leather shoulder holster, and sitting snuggly inside it, was a .38 revolver. I slid the holster on my right shoulder, as the left one was entirely too sore to carry the weight, and exited the room. I walked down a hallway, and as I came to a set of double doors, I heard voices. "How's the kid? He gonna pull through?" "He's good, the doc said, he'd be fine, the bullet missed his artery, but not by much. He was lucky, real lucky, but he should make a full recovery. Might be some nerve damage, or something to that extent, but he's alive. "Kid's got some balls, he must take after his old man. So you think he's worth protecting? This shit could get messy, and I just want to make sure we're standing on the right side of the shit storm." "He's worth it, he's just wet behind the ears, and doesn't have his temper under control. A lil guidance, and I think he'll do fine, in this "thing of ours." I didn't know who the first voice belonged too, but he spoke with a heavy South Philly accent. The second voice was undoubtedly Uncle Vito, which made me relax, reassuring me I was safe for the time being. I stepped into the doorway, and both men turned to face me. "There he is, how's sleeping beauty doing?" Uncle Vito got up from his chair as he spoke, and made his way over to me. He gave me a hug, and motioned for me to sit down. I took a seat next to the unknown gentleman, and lit another cigarette before I settled back in my chair. "I'm alright I suppose, still sore, and rather confused as how I got here, but I'm alright." "Well good, you had me worried there for a moment, but I had my doc take a look at you, and he said you'll be fine." Vito reached into his desk drawer, and pulled out a cigar, he lit it, took a few puffs, and continued. "We got to talk kid; we got to get you squared away so to speak. There's rules to this life, and we got to get you following them. I like your style, reminds me of your father, so I'm here to make you a proposal. You need a family backing you, and although you know I look out for you, we have to make it official. I need a good earner, and you need good protection. So how would you like to step up from being a street thug, and become an Earner for my family?" I took a moment to consider my options, as I silently smoked my cigarette. Vito was right, as usual, I needed protection, as my shoulder painfully reminded me, of what can happen when you run solo in this world. I didn't have much of a choice, and I knew that without Vito, I was a sitting duck. "I'll do it, don't have much of a choice anyways huh?" "Not really, and at least this way, I can properly look after you, you'll be spoken for by me, and when I speak for someone, Jesus Christ himself can't fuck with ya." Vito smiled, as he puffed on his cigar, he motioned to the unknown man beside me, and began to speak. "This is one of my Capo's, Mikey Scars, and he'll be making sure I don't have to attend your funeral. He'll also be, cleaning up this mess with you, you did enough on your own, it's time to let the professionals show you how it's done." The man, who I know knew as Mikey, turned to me and extended his hand. "Pleasure to meet you kid, I've heard a lot about you. I must say, you look a lot better then you did, sprawled out in that alleyway." I shook his hand, and gave Vito a puzzled look. "You found me in the alley? How'd you know where I was?" Mikey and Vito both laughed, and Mikey began to speak. "Vito told me to tail you, make sure you were alright. I must say you lost me for a minute, when you took to the side streets, but I waited by your car. I haven't seen someone hit the ground that hard in a while, luckily I got to you when I did, or the cops would of been waking you up." "Thanks...you saved my life...I don't know how to repay you for that." "Don't mention it kid, just doing my job. Next time though, try not to get shot; you made a mess in my car." He laughed again, and I already knew, that Mikey and I would get along fine. Vito cleared his throat, which brought everyones attention back to him. "Now, on to business; we got the location of the last guy, he's hiding out in a farm house, up state. So I'm gonna send Mikey, you, and a couple of guys up there to sort him out. Vito leaned into his desk, making eye contact with me, "You're gonna go and watch how professionals do it. You keep going the way you're going, and you'll be dead before you get your revenge. Stick with Mikey, he'll show you the ropes, what to do, and what not to do. You listen to him kid, he knows what he's doing." For about an hour, Vito and Mikey, told me the plan, and what was expected of me. They told me a few rules to abide by, while in this "thing of ours," but most importantly about Omerta and family honor. This was my family now, and they'd look out for me, as long as I did the same. Vito had told me he spoke with my Mother, letting her know I was alright, he then sent her a nice bit of money, to get her through the week, as times were tough. When it was all said and done, Mikey and I headed out, to finish the job. We met up with 2 more guys, both Made Men, as Mikey pointed out. One was a short, slightly plump Italian named Joey, he was loud, but had a look in his eyes, that would turn you to stone. The other was a tall, skinny guy, named Luigi, he spoke very little english, which didn't matter, cause he didn't speak much anyway. After going over the plan for what felt like the 100th time, we got into two seperate cars, Mikey and me in the lead, followed by Luigi and Joey. It was a 2 hour drive upstate, so I settled into my seat, and before I knew it I had dozed off. Cars did that to me, even to this day, I tend to get sleepy on long rides. I woke up, as the car felt like it was bouncing, we were driving down a dirt road, and nightfall was approaching. Mikey checked his mirrors, and then glanced over at me. "Damn kid, you sure can sleep, glad you're up though, the show will be starting soon. Do me a favor, reach in the back seat, and grab that bag." I did as I was told, and retrieved the bag from the back seat, my shoulder causing me to flinch a little. I put the bag on my lap, and opened it up, revealing a few handguns, and a knife, with a blade the size of my hand. Mikey, reached over, and pulled out a .38 special, which was his favorite, he informed me, as he set it on his lap. I still had my .38 in my holster, so I grabbed a couple more bullets, and placed the bag back. He turned off the headlights, and in a few minutes, were approaching a run down farm house. The car came to a stop, as Joey pulled his car up behind us. Everyone stepped out of the vehicles, and Joey and Luigi came up, both armed with Tommy Guns. We went over the plan one last time, and Mikey and I headed for the front door, while the other two went to the back. Mikey began to count to 10, by the time he was done, the other two should be in place, and the show would start. "8...9...10..." Mikey then kicked the door in, and we entered the house guns drawn. I heard the back door give way, as it was kicked open as well, and Joey and Luigi made their way inside. Before we made it to the back room, we heard a yell, and 4 shots were fired. Quickly followed with the sound of two Tommy guns, tearing the house to bits. Mikey and I made our way to the noise, and as we peeked around the corner, we saw Joey and Luigi standing over a body. Joey turned to us, and spoke first, "This him?", was all he said, as Mikey walked over to identify the body. "Nah that ain't him, fuck, we got to find him fast." As we went to split up, we heard a noise coming from the basement, and Joey and Luigi descended the stairs, quickly followed by Mikey and I. It was dark in the basement, which made it hard to see, but apparently Joey was right at home. He side stepped some boxes, ducked his head to avoid some low hanging rafters, and before I knew what was going on, he had opened fire. "Alright, is this the fucking guy?!" That was all Joey said, as he stood over another body. "That's him," said Mikey, as he stood over the body, "Nice work Joey, although I think an entire clip was a bit of overkill, don't you?" "No," was all Joey said. Mikey laughed, and ordered Luigi and Joey to clean up the mess. Mikey took me back out to the cars, and we sat on the hood as we both lit a cigarette. In minutes Joey and Luigi were walking out, and as they made it to the car, flames burst through the windows of the house; engulfing the entire structure into a fiery blaze. "Now that's how you clean up a crime scene, let's get the fuck out of here." Mikey spoke quick, as he got into the driver side of the car. I quickly got in on the other side, and when Joey and Luigi were in there car, we were off. It was another long drive back, and before we pulled off the dirt road, I glanced in the side mirror, and watched the roof of the house fall through. It was done, I had finally avenged my fathers death, and those scumbags were burning in hell. But I had thrown myself into a life, that I knew nothing about to get my revenge. I thought that would of been the end of it, but I knew now that wasn't the case. I was a gangster now, a mafioso, and I had to learn how to live this life, or die trying. TO BE CONTINUED... |
