ODST is awesome, trust me. If you like Halo universe and the Halo games in general, you should buy ODST :) .

lol Rover. Many things will top Modern Warfare 2, it's merely another shooter with a semi-epic plot. I highly doubt they've added anything new or innovative to it, but yes, it will be the biggest seller this year. Not the biggest seller ever. I'd much rather have games like Bioshock or the GTA series that push the boundaries of gaming, not another shooter.

However, I will be buying it. Just, I hate how over-hyped it is for what it is... a multi-player game with a quick addition of a campaign thrown down. Same with Halo really.

Also, this is a horrible thing to compare. One of them is essentially an add-on and the other is a full 20ish hour game. This would almost be me attempting to compare L4D to a game like Oblivion. One that was worked on for years and one that was thrown together in two months, but has super awesome zombies, so it is a must-buy.

Either way. I'd rent ODST and then buy MW2.

Halo sucks. it uses odd egines. hello we r in the 21st century. CoD: MW2 all the way. it has the most up-to-date graphics, weapons, developement system. Halo 3 ODST uses the MW engine(the original). example of a great game. Assassins Creed 2. guess wat uses the MW2 engine.

So MW2 wins against Halo ODST, and all other games this year, by a landslide.

Well if you can get ODST get that, and then im sure you can grab some more cash together in a month to be ready for MW2. I would just do that personally. I like Halo and Ive always liked Halo. One of my most favortie game series ever, but they haven't done as well with ODST then they had done with Halo 3.

As for MW2 it will be awesome. I like COD aswell but one problem is like Sherlock said. Its over-hyped for what its going to be. Its over-rated just like COD 4 was and COD WAW. But hell Ive got ODST and its a great game if your after a bit of Gamerscore. Nice easy achievements if you have some mates who are willing to help you out with some. And MW2 I shall get for the sake its a new game and I like to try new games.

Heh. Buying ODST would just be a waste of money unless you own Halo 3 and play it regularly. Other than that, just continue with renting ODST and buying MW2.

Yes, it was originally created to be a spin-off,from a different period in the Halo history. Finally, it ended in a complete game with no spartan at all, but a lot of new features, such as the firefight. it's worth buying the game only for that.. ^^"
