| Staying in jail | Started by: b7gangster on Oct 11, '09 11:34 |

We all know that it is sometimes nice to be busted out, but some people don't want to be taken out of jail, like when they want to check how people replied to their jail forums, but people can't tell the difference between someone who wants to stay in jail and someone who wants to be out of jail. I suggest that there be an option of being not broken out. It's not realistic that when someone tries to break a guy out, that they always go along with it. Like if someone tries to break you out, you should have the option of not going with them or just a plain option of just not leaving until your sentence is up. No one will get exp points for trying to breakout the person if they don't want to leave. It would be better for everyone if this was an option. I would like to hear everyone's opinion on this subject and i will try to reply ASAP. |

Yeah it sounds like a good option. Plus why would in the real mafia would somebody break out somebody from another family. There should also be something else for you to do in there besides just posts. It gets boring cuz people usually dont have interesting topics in there. |

that is a good point. Maybe if you want an interesting topic, put some in while you are in jail. But if people break you out before you can, then it would be nice to have that option of staying in jail. |

Well, then you got to think about other things. If your in a war,and your not a hitter or you already took a shot, you need to hide. If you get in jail, your as safe as a bird, until someone busts you out. If you were allowed to say 'no', this would allow people to hide in jail. Not very fair. |

I see your point, yes this wouldn't be fair maybe if the option was only allowed one time a day and the person should be put out of jail when the sentence runs out. |

Well, if we make it a fixed option of all or nothing about the sentence, then you won't be hidden for more than 20 minutes and somebody can be ready to whack you as you come out. I still think it's nice to be able to stay if you wish to post in jail and read other people's comments. |

In what kind of reality would any mafioso want to stay in jail? I think "choosing" to remain in jail is a farce. |

Unfortunately, there is no possible way that this could be role-played...can you imagine asking a prison warden to keep you in jail, or when someone arrives to bust you out, informing them that you are quite ok, thank you though... A prisoner has no choices. This is generally why jail is a bad place. If you wish to see how people respond to you threads, then publish them in the streets or one of the other forums. |

Also, Ive just been stuck in jail for a few minutes and ive read the thread that you made in there b7gangster. Without a doubt the most spammy/shit/waste of my life/whatever. Why you need more than 20 seconds to read it is beyond me. |

Being realistic how many successful busts happen, the busting system is too easy if you want it to be realistic then surely it would be hard to bust people out |
