***** This charity drive has now ended - thank you everyone for your donations to the American Cancer Society, it personally means a lot to me, and all those around me that you guys stepped up like you did. Thank you all!***** A very close family to mine have recently received the bad news of someone being diagnosed with breast cancer. Crissy, has answered the call and recently has signed up with The American Cancer Society to do the 2009 Making Strides event. She is raising funds for the cause, and we in turn are hoping the users can also help out themselves with a small donation to the ACS. The minimum donation it will allow is a $5 dollar donation - Sooo for every $5 that gets donated, I will give you a bodyguard as a token of our appreciation. (Saturday is the latest we can accept donations, for the walk is Sunday morning) Click on the pink "Donate" ribbon. Fill out "Name as you would like it to appear on the Web site:" with MR - YourUserName For example, I would put "MR - Squishy" If your user name is not appropriate for public display, then simply use MR - PutYourIRCNameHere (and then contact me on IRC for proper credit of the BGs) Thank you for all your help in this wonderful cause. |
