| To Forgive or Not? | Started by: Petra on Oct 14, '09 21:02 |

Petra sits on the soapbox smoking a cigarette. The sun was shining, a warm breeze blew gently through the streets. Her closest friends were just chatting on random topics around her. She gets on top of the soapbox with a contemplative look on her face. " Ladies and Gentlemen, I just thought of something to pass time away. Not a complaint or rant, just something that has happened to many of us. Would you ever forgive someone who shot at your mother or father? There are different scenarios on how this could play out. For example, let's say the killer was just following orders from a war as an enemy family or city. Or, let's say they did it because of personal reasons like they felt betrayed or did it out of error. If they were friends of your mom or dad would you ever trust them again? " Now on the other end, let's say you're a killer, not that you would air it out in public, but would you really hold a grudge after death? Or would their death just be another part of dealing with business? Smiles brightly and laughs as a handsome mademan whispers something in her ear. Continues to chat and listen to everyone. |

When people get "Dealt with" its strictly buisness. Having strong feeling towards another mobster is like masterbating with sandpaper, It WILL end in tears. |

OddPanda listens to Petra's contemplative speech and begins to ponder it. Well, Petra, I have always been a fan of forgive and forget. If you are killed, someone felt you deserved it. The best thing to do is try to teach your children better than you were taught. That is all I have to say on this subject, but thank you for allowing me to think on it. Flashing a smile to Petra, OddPanda departs through an alley, whistling a merry tune. |

TimberRattlesnake sits on the outside pondering how to respond to this. She takes a deep breath and speaks up. I think it's easier to forgive and forget if you're death resulted in a war or if being "dealt with" doesnt make you feel like you're walking on egg shells. If your next of kin feels that way then it will be harder for them to forgive and forget. This is relative to how the person was killed and their own opinions on such matters. If it were me and I felt like I was walking on egg shells for any reason then chances are I won't forgive nor forget, but at the same time it doesn't mean I would be acting on those feelings towards that person. As I said it depends on the circumstances in which my kin was killed and the reasons behind it. |
