Guns, Is it just me or does anyone else think we need some different guns?

Like a Tommy gun or a magnum or something??

Yeah Suggestiong forum and bringing in different guns is going too much complications. And the way it is now is perfect.

Im not saying its not good the way it is i just like guns.

I think we need laser-guided missile launchers.

for those extra hard to kill bosses

People as ever, have been totally dismissive of this. The fact that this is a regular suggestion should indicate that it is something a percentage of people want.

Now introducing new and varying degrees of weapon is not something I feel could be applied to the game. However, perhaps you could get achievements relative to your volume of kills and these equal a new gun.

I know next to nothing about guns, so I would suggest you consult someone with more knowledge on them and what was used in the 1930s but I imagine something like:

50 kills - Pistol 100 kills - Shotgun 150 kills - Tommy Gun

And so on. Whilst you don't actually see any difference between the weapon you're using and it doesn't change throughout the game, you can claim to weild a tommy gun now or shotgun etc. As I say someone with a better knowledge than I could probably list authentic firearms from the 1920s and 1930s to add some realism to it.

I was also considering achievements based on the kills of other people along these lines. Rather than achievements you have a trophy cabinet to display in your mansion because you're a big shot gangster. I do not know the difficulty involved in coding this but for example lets say you kill Aurora (see me for more info if you're game for this) then you get the achievement of her weapon in your trophy cabinet. "Aurora's peashooter is on display in your trophy cabinet."

Clearly this is just a cosmetic change but it would go some way to placating those who desire more firearms, without compromising the setup of the game.
