I was talking with a friend and we talking about MMA and came up with a business idea and wanted to run it by people to see what they think.

It would be for ages 10+ (Can't really be younger for MMA). And it would include

• Gym Equipment(To work out of course, with trainers)

• Gym Trainers (MMA, BJJ, Boxing & Muay Thai)

• Little store selling MMA Stuff (fighting equipment, health foods, shakes, cloths)

Then we thought how would we get people to sign up in the first place. Well like a 10 min drive from my house there is a college and high school right side by side and a little farther up the road a junior high and elementary school so good area to set up.

• To get them to join we will offer things such as:

• Buddy Night (Bring a friend for free)

• Sing up with friends &  its cheaper

• Price includes uniforms and gym clothes (optional)

Also from time to time we would be doing:

• Matches

• Tournaments

• Fight Nights

• Can be put on video for fighters & viewers(Both fighters must agree)

Clearly this isn't the business to make a huge profit, but I'm want to do this because I like MMA, its for the joy of the sport not the money. The only issue I may run into is finding trainers that can help the kid in MMA, training and know what they are talking about.

I would like your thoughts, tips and comments on this.

You would need to make sure with minors that parents signed some kind of waiver

thats alot of legal ramifications and insurance involved.

This is a good point might not be worth the money...

Well ya. There would have to be a sheet to sign up when you sign up for the gym, a waver that I would have to go over with a lawyer and get the kids/teens and parents to sign so with that my ass is covered.
