Putting It All Together Started by: Frenchy on Nov 10, '15 22:33

Frenchy sits in the Production Company HQ. He had been drawing up the blueprints for his upcoming hit. It was going to be a big one. He couldn't wait to bite into the chunk of change he was gonna pull from it. The airport wouldn't see it coming.

First he had secured a job as a cargo handling supervisor for the night shift. He was qualified enough, and had called in a couple favors for his "recommendations".It was a desk job mostly, so it was easy to bullshit his way through. While he was in the building he was able to see how the security works, and he would try to stop in at his office during the day when he "forgot some papers" so he could see the day security as well. He had concluded that the day security was weak, and was perfect for a quick in and out job.

The next step was getting two or three capable mafiosos to steal the money for him. This was an inside job, so he definitely couldn't do it himself and not get caught. He decided on seeing if Cato and JohnWCreasy were busy. Cato was good friend and an even better criminal, so he knew he'd get the job done. John wasn't a big shot yet, but Frenchy saw potential. He also thought it was the least he could do for the nephew of Big_Al.

Cato wasn't hard to contact. All Frenchy had to do was walk down the hallway of the HQ.

"Hey, Cato I got something big in the works, and I need some help running it. The people I'm trying to rob know my face and name, but they don't know yours."

Frenchy filled him in on all the details, and could tell that it was sticking.

"Sounds like a good steal. It'll be a great initiation to Manhattan for us if you could pull it off."

Frenchy was pleased at Cato's response. He tipped his hat, and said that he's give him a 24 hour heads up in about a week when the first step of the job would need to be pulled off. He walked to the sitting room to access the telephone.

"Last time we spoke I told you that I'd likely be seeing you again soon, and that's exactly what this is about. I have something lined up and I'd love for you to be a part of it. I can't tell you all the details at the moment, but I know you'll like what I have to say. I promise, there's A LOT of money in it for you."

Frenchy hated that he had to make it so vague, but he had no choice. He couldn't risk the call being intercepted.

"Sounds like it'll be something good. I'll see if I can fit a trip to New York into my schedule and get back to you. I also will have to check with my boss and see if working with another crew will be alright."

They ended the call quickly as most mafioso do. You never want to risk rambling and something secret slipping out. Short and to the point is best. Frenchy walked back to the table I was working at, and sat down. I stared at the information I had gathered one more time. There was no way this wasn't going to work. There was only one more thing I had left to do. I stood up and walked to Rita's office.

I knocked on the door and heard her voice invite me in. I walked into the gigantic study she called an office. She was sitting at her desk writing something down on a sheet of paper. I walked further into the room and sat down across the table from her.

"Hello Boss, nice to see you today. I have a job I've been planning, and I'd like to get your permission to run it. It's a hit on the JFK International Airport over in the Queens, you know the one right? Well I have found a way to steal nearly a half-a-million dollars right out from under their noses without even shooting. Right now I have Cato and possibly JohnWCreasy from LV in on it. What do you think?"

Rita sat silently for a moment thinking about everything. She looked up at Frenchy and nodded her head.

"It sounds like it'll be big, but if you say you have it covered then I'll take your word for it. Just make sure I get my 30% rake as Godmother."

Frenchy nodded in her direction and tipped his hat. He stood up and began to walk out turning around about two paces from the door.

"If there's anybody you'd want to get some experience with organized crime, I could use another man."

I stood for a moment and awaited her response.
