I was no godfather nor boss, But I was making it a mission to make an impact in Vegas. A hotel guy, businessman and a vicious fuck. That was me and a lot of people knew already while others just didn't learn yet.

6 men to be exact. 3 were partners in a new casino opening up next to mine 2 were thugs who thought they owned Vegas and the last one was a inspector and owner of a piece of land near my casino who was standing in my way of expanding my operations. On top of all this I had a shipment of new slot machines coming in that Jezebel was handling.

So I made a few calls and took a little ride.

Alpine road, 7:51PM

Standing outside of the inspector's house I knocked twice. The door opens slowly, I reply "Harry Reed?".

He replies "Ugh yea that's me" BANG!...BANG!. Screams filled the streets in the distance as I fired 2 shots into the man immediately fleeing the scene and heading back to my hotel.

As I arrive I head up to the ballroom where another party was being held. Jezebel tells me the machines were in place. Shortly after 2 men in black trench coats approach me and reply "The 5 friends you wanted us to meet with never showed!."

I order a whiskey and look at the men. "Nice work fellas".

I slide an envelope with 20k inside. The men take it and walk out. I utter under my breath "Should get the picture now!."

I take a drink and enjoy the party.

I see KL walk into the ballroom a little out of breath but I didn't think anything of it so I rush over to him tell him that machines were in place and ready to go. As I see 2 men walk towards KL I quickly turned around and walked away, after all there is always business to take care of. I notice the men leave and KL grab his glass of whiskey. I then walk over to him and ask,

"everything sorted out?" then giving KL a kiss on the cheek 

"Yea everything is all set. Glad to see the machines are in place, Hotel is through the roof with profits right now."

I nod at KL and give him a quick smile,

"thats good, glad to see the hotel doing so well."
