Being that October 31st is Halloween, question is:  What is the most "Scariest" movie you have ever seen?

I am not easily scared, but I must say the movie, The Sentinel (1977)  scared my ass like crazy! ha!

The following is the plot of the movie.  If you ever have a chance, check it out.  You will be sleeping with the lights on! haha!

The Sentinel (1977)

Alison Parker, a beautiful but severely neurotic fashion model (Raines) moves into a gorgeous Brooklyn Brownstone house that has been divided into apartments. The house is inhabited on the top floor by a reclusive blind priest (Carradine) who spends all of his time sitting at his open window. Alison begins having strange physical problems, and has trouble sleeping at night, and has some nasty flashbacks of her attempted suicide. She complains to the real estate agent of the noise caused by her strange neighbors, only to be told that the house is only occupied by the priest and herself, and ultimately discovers that she has been put in the house for a reason. Things only become more unreal when she discovers that she and the neighbors are not the only inhabitants in the house, and the others may not be of this world.

It turns out that the building is owned by the Catholic church and is a gateway to hell. The blind priest is the guardian who ensures that the devils and archangels do not escape. Its time that a new guardian needed to be appointed and the church chose Allison as she had the perfect background, having attempted suicide twice during the past. The devils try to induce Allison to commit suicide to ensure there is not any successor to the blind priest.

Is PARANORMAL ACTIVITY really scary?  I've been  debating on, should I see it or not.  What makes it scary?

It IS really scary. The scariest thing about it is the progressive nature of this demon/ghost.

It's about a couple who lives together and the female is being haunted. The male believes her but has not seen this so he buys a camera and wants it all on camera to try and figure out what they are dealing with.

I dont want to say what happens but it gets worse and worse as the days go by.  I suggest you watch it and I think I will watch you suggestion. I will post the link for the bootleg.  Its not a bad copy so its worth watching.

Pretty much, when it comes to movies that deal with "Spirits", or "Church choir singing" as background music,

like Omen or Exorcist....I stay clear  of those types of movies.... they are just too damn creepy for me. ha!

Everyone is saying  PARANORMAL ACTIVITY is scary, so maybe and I mean "maybe", I will check it out.

Paranormal Activity is scary as shit I actually was scared to walk in any dark part of my house for a couple days and its the first scary movie that has actually scared me since whenever

I can't get over the fact that it actually scared me. If your looking for a good scare I advise watching Paranormal Activity 100%

I would have to agree Paranormal Activity by far, I watched the bootleg and it was creepy, but I am still not afraid of the dark lol
