A man you've never seen before stands up on a soapbox, cigarette hanging haphazardly out of his mouth, deep booming voice echoing,

"Ladies and gentlemen, hello hello, good evening to all. I hope you all are having pleasant evenings! I'd just like to take a moment of your time to explain something to the lot of you. In the short while that I've been involved on the shady of the law, I have been approached quite a few times in regards to my name. People snicker, people giggle, and people laugh at me having the name Abbie. I assure you, my parents must have been extremely out of it when they named me, as I am quite obviously a male."

Stopping for a moment to take a drag of his cigarette, Abbie cracks his neck and continues,

"I think they secretly must have hated me, there was no way that they didn't know the amount of odd looks, the number of rude laughs, and the teasing I'd have to endure because of it. Well to them I say a big FUCK YOU!"

The man looks around smiling, taking another drag of his cigarette, wiping his hands nervously on his pant legs before starting to speak again,

"I have broken the chains off from caring any more what the people in normal society think. Despite the oddity of my name, I have been welcomed warmly into the New York crime syndicate as an associate of the great WillHayes, of the Knickerbocker family. To him, and to New York, I owe my life."

Abbie hops off the soapbox, flicking his cigarette to the ground before looking around and concluding,

" I can not express how great it feels to not have to worry about social norms, but instead focus on things that will truly make me prosper. I shall leave you all today with a quote from one of the most well known authors of all time, William Shakespeare, 'What is in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet.'"

Jimmy leans against a wall as he listens to a new guy making a speech. He lit a cigar and took a smoke before stomping it on the ground. 

"That was the past friend. You are in the mafia now. If anybody insults you, you know what to do." Jimmy then proceeded to pull out a gun and shoot at the wall quite far away from him. 

"One shot in the head, no more annoyances. You getting this?" Jimmy then walked away silently.

Terry, strides up to Abbie, a smile on his face.

"Good on you, son. Never let yourself get affected by what people say, because in the end, you are who you are. No point letting people get you down for that, and if someone does put you down, you knwo what to do. Your family will help you out in that matter. If they don't, come to me."

Terry meanders off again, pausing to listen to a couple of other speeches going on throughout the streets.

Curse the day I was graced with Boaby.

Al nods his head as he listens, understanding this mobsters story.

I can empathize with you sir. When I first arrived I was taken to task over my name in a coffee shop. They say the best revenge is living well, or in our case, living. I am and he isn't, feels good to me. Good luck to you in this thing of ours.

Al walks off to visit another corner of the streets.

If you all think being called Abbie or Boaby is bad, try having a face like a smashed biscuit.

Nods his head in agreement with the whole speech
