Nyx walked the quiet New York city street, unusually quiet for this time of night, She thought to herself. A cold chill swept along the lonely buildings, causing a shiver to ripple along her spine. Hands buried deeply in pockets, she walked briskly to Rita_Hayworth's HQ. It was time for a visit she thought, Nyx needed some pouncing.

She grinned at the thought of seeing her old friend, since the split up, it had been lonely without her daily pounces. Nyx turned to slip down the last of the damn, cold walk, sheesh, that woman lived to damn far to walk, She grumbled under breath as she came up to Rita's HQ doors, giving a sharp knock, she waited and heard ppl talking.

Zlatan slowly opened the door, peeking through, Nyx leaned close and whispered "Boo!!"

He startled back and grunted at her, "Damnit, Nyx!! whatcha want??"

"Just to see Rita ish all darlin." Nyx stuck her tongue out at him and slipped between the door. "Mmmm, heat!!, its so damn cold out!!" She smiled at him as she went about looking for Rita, knowing the total lay out. Her home once...

Rita sat in her office shuffling through some papers. She didn't have the urge to do much of anything though, it had been a long day and all she wanted to do was something other then business related. She got up out of her chair and walked around her spacious office. Rita had a slight case of OCD so as she walked around she fixed a couple of pictures that were a bit askew and a couple other little odds and ends.

Once she had nothing else to do, she contemplated going back to her chair. Taking a step in that direction she suddenly stopped hearing something or someone actually. Someone that she knew all too well. She instantly knew it was Nyx_, Rita got a bit excited she often liked to pounce on her and it had been a while since it was done.

Rita quickly hid behind the couch in the corner of her office and waited not so patiently for Nyx to enter in order to surprise pounce.

Nyx walked through the all to familiar place, remembering her days back when she walked these halls. Lost in thought as she pushed Rita's office door open, and stuck her head in. A frown formed on lips as she didnt see Rita. "Where da hell is this woman" she thought out loud, as she pushed the door fully open.

Nyx so wasnt expecting what came next as she found herself pounced to the floor. A loud "Humpfff" slipped past her lips as Rita landed on her, a sly grin on her face as she smiled down at her . Nyx couldnt help but laugh and bear hug her. "Damn girl, Ive missed you!!"
