Brusty sees his friend Il Siciliano approaching and listens to him as he says, I hear the Hope Diamond is being moved to the Del Monte bank in Detroit. It's worth billions.

Brusty replies, I know and that's makes a perfect situation for a two man bank robbery.
Il Siciliano looks puzzled and says, Are you nuts? There will be hundreds of guards there while it's being held.

Brusty laughs and replies, We're not hitting the Del Monte Bank, we're hitting the Detroit Bank of Michigan. They're pulling guards from there to protect the diamond. The only problem is getting authorization from Marietta, it is part of her turf. That and I heard rumors that the Del Montes are actually planning on robbing that bank themselves.

Il Siciliano says, Before I make the calls to get a meeting with her, tell me what you're planning. Brusty smirks and whispers the plan in his ear. Il Siciliano says, It's obviously risky but I think it could work.

The Next Day...

Brusty and Il Siciliano approach the Riot HQ. They are greeted and frisked for weapons by Rourke and Grassboy. Rourke approaches Il Siciliano and says I know you're big in Philly but this is Detroit and if your man tries something I'll put him down myself.

Grassboy tells Rourke, Relax, everyone knows about the power of Detroit, and besides, if Marietta set up a meeting with them they're either stupid or trustworthy.

The four of them walk into Marietta's office and sit down. Rourke and Grassboy pull guns on Brusty and Sic to remind them not to try anything. Marietta asks Brusty, Sic told me you have a plan to rob a bank, but why did you choose Detroit? And why did you come to me knowing the Del Montes are planning on robbing that bank?

Marietta, I humbly wish to inform you that I chose Detroit because I believe the Del Montes are weak and stupid. They are bound to make mistakes and will probably be caught. I believe they planned on doing this without your permission and I wish to capitalize on their weakness. This, plus our distance from Philadelphia, and the fact that I have no prior dealings with you would lead the cops to believe that Sic and I aren't involved in the mafia and couldn't try to pin this on anyone of the respected families. All I ask for, other than your necessary approval is a limousine that won't be damaged, two men that have a good eye and some dynamite as I didn't have the time to smuggle it onto the plane.
Marietta responds, You can have what you need, if you can convince me on how you plan on doing this.
Brusty slowly and articulately describes every last detail of his plan and then waits for Marietta's approval. Marietta nods her head and motions for all four of them to leave.
Rourke tells them that they can pick up the dynamite and limousine tomorrow and it will be more than able to handle the job they described.

Brusty and Sic immediately start walking towards the house of a bank teller from the Detroit Bank of Michigan. They see a car parked across the street and make their way around the block and into the alley. They sneak into the house through the back door and get the woman to stay where she is so the car outside isn't alarmed, while staying out of their sight. Brusty tosses slides down out of sight and gets next to her. He then tells her,

I'm going to ask you some yes or no questions. Tap your foot once for yes and twice for no. We are here to help you and ourselves. We know about the Del Monte's plan and we want you to know that we will help you if you do some simple things for us. We will get your kidnapped son back and offer you protection and a new start on life in Philadelphia with a new job we will have lined up for you. Are you in? She taps once. Good, now all we need you to do is get us a hold of a janitor's uniform and tell us where the special high heels my friend is leaving you under your sink, they have a concealed knife that can't be detected by a metal detector. All you are going to do with them is kick them off when the Del Montes come running in. Can you do this?

She taps once, grabs a pen and paper and writes down that the uniform will be under the sink when she leaves for work and that the Del Montes plan to attack at 10AM, an hour after the bank opens. AND THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Brusty and Sic slip out the back door again and start to head towards the Del Monte's Truck Depot. They slowly approach it and see that they foolishly held the boy on the first floor. They also see that there are only 3 guards are on the first floor, but have no idea how many are on the second.

Brusty turns to Sic and says, I didn't plan on how to get the boy out, got any ideas?
Sic nods and says, I've got an idea. I say I sneak in from the top and take out the guards up there while you and the other two each pick a guard off at the same time down low and grab the kid and run. I'll cut the power on your signal and when you're out we can cut the telephone lines.

Brusty replies, Sounds good to me, we should wait until tomorrow morning just in case they call to check on them.

The Next Mourning...

Brusty and Sic see Rourke and Grassboy approaching at 8AM. Sic immediately and stealthily gets on top of the building. The other three take their aim; Sic cuts the lights, and then BOOM BOOM BOOM!!! The three guards on the bottom drop and Brusty starts running in towards the boy, holding up a trash can lid he saw on his way in for whatever protection it could provide. A man jumps out from behind some boxes and he throws it straight into his throat. He then grabs the kid and hightails it out of there. Meanwhile Sic had been stalking the upper decks and had slit two throats, seeing the boy out of the building, he gets back on the roof and then climbs back down.

Brusty walks up to Rourke and Grassboy, You guys have this covered?

Rourke responds, Of course, now get going so you aren't late.

Brusty and Sic quickly drive to the woman's house and grab the uniforms and Sic also slips into his sticky suit that he wears underneath the janitor's uniform. They then get to the bank and get ready for the Del Montes and their big chance.

10AM,

Brusty is watching the door while seemingly having a casual conversation with Sic and the janitor who is showing them what all gets cleaned and how. The Del Montes come busting in and to Brusty and Sic's surprise there are 6 of them, instead of 4 which is what they were telling everyone. Sic turns to Brusty and says, We're not taking any unnecessary risks, if there's an opportunity take it, otherwise let them do their thing.

The Del Montes approach the woman and scream this is a stick up and start shoving their guns in the hostages' faces. Two of them get the bank manager to open the safe and start to put money into the bags. The woman kicks her shoes off and when Brusty hits the floor he grabs the concealed weapon. A man approaches the woman and puts a gun to her head. He says this is the end of the line for you. The gun fires and some of her hair goes flying into the air. The real janitor had grabbed his arm and broken it. He takes the gun and quickly shoots the other three in the bank lobby. Brusty starts to think what luck, then the man with the broken arm pulls out his backup gun and shoots the janitor. He sees his opportunity and watches as the other two come running into the lobby. The man yells at them to get back to work. Once they were inside, Brusty jumps on top of the man with the broken arm and covers his mouth. He then slits his throat and grabs the guns on the floor. He tosses one to Sic and they burst into the vault and shoot the two inside. As quickly as they can they set up a bomb (hidden under Sic's uniform on his sticky suit) and scream at the crowd to run because there is a bomb set to blow. They quickly take the money from two of the three bags they see and stick it on his suit. They take the other bag and divide half the money into another bag. They run out of the building and BOOM! The bomb goes off and all of the other bank robbers are dead. Everyone else escaped except for one bank assistant who tried to hide in the back and couldn't get the automatically locking door unlocked. The two hand the bank manager the bags and say, It's all we could grab.

He responds, Don't worry, we would have lost it all if you two hadn't been here today. Thank you and take this for your troubles. He hands them each $100,000.

They see one of Marietta's men driving by in a limousine and hop in without anyone noticing. After giving Marietta her cut of the 4.2 million, they head back to Philly. Once back in their HQ, they see Straz and tell him all about their ridiculous adventure.
