A few suggestions arising in IRC over some updates to the hitlist. Any or all could be used.
1. The hit cannot be bought off (or removed?).
2. The hit does not get removed after the poster's death.
Con: Could allow for lots of money to stay in the game.
3. A hit increases the hitter's stealth (and possibly offence).
Rationale: Hitters are more likely to risk shooting a sponsored member.
4. To prevent 3 being abused, the reward is less than the cost in setting up the hit (say, a hit with a $1,000,000 reward costs $2,000,000).
Rationale: Hitters won't place hits for their own targets to gain the extra stealth (/wack?) advantage.
5. Hits can only be placed on Made Men and above.
6. An extra tips person is added to the tips section with info on the poster.
7. Hits are always anonymous.
8. The cost of a hit is a minimum of $2,000,000 per rank, starting at Made Man (thus the reward is $1,000,000 per rank, starting at Made Man).
9. Placing a hit is the only way to kill a Godfather/mother.
