| Addition of New Cities | Started by: Vincent_Hearon on Dec 03, '15 04:47 |

Well I've been thinking and with the way our game is looking we have families in all 6 cities as of right now and I can't tell you how happy I am to finally see the world filling out, and I hope that it can continue to do so! But we all know that as those districts start to fill up a driving factor for war could be the need for expansion.. I've never been one to shy away from a good fight but I'd hate for the game to become stale in coming months because there is no room to expand and no other reason for war. So I propose that we open a few more cities.. just two though, we don't need a huge country yet. I vote for us to bring back New Orleans and introduce Miami.. we have the North, East, and West this could give us a chance to have some southern cities as well.. Would be cool to see how this would change the landscape of the game. New Orleans three districts could be Bourbon St(C), The Ninth Ward(N), and Uptown(S) Miami's can be Liberty City(W), EdgeWater(C), and Little Havana(E)
I think the last section of the country being filled out would be a great addition as well bring New Orleans and all her beautiful memories back into the game couldn't be too bad of a thing. Thoughs for everyone else? |

The game isn't even remotely filled. Philadelphia is barely filled. Vegas is barely filled. Los Angeles is barely filled. Chicago is barely filled. Detroit is barely filled. New York (Currently) is the only city with a decent sized population. I would say if each city had a population similar to the size of current day NY, the game could take on a new city, but right now? No, it wouldn't do anything at all. |

Yes I get that the cities are barely filled, but I'd rather have 8 small cities than a few powerhouse cities and the rest be empty like we've seen in the past. As well if the cities are empty, there is nothing wrong with that. I don't know why people get so upset over empty cities, they will get used and abused when it's their turn. |

If we can't fill the ones we have now, we don't need new ones. |

You know I look at it like a pair of shoes there's two types of people.. And I will relate it to shoes. There is the guy who has one pair and he wears them until they break and he had to get new ones(the cities filling up and then opening more).. You mint. And the guy who just likes to get as many pairs as he can so that way he has options( having more cities so we can use different ones to change things up) me. It's all really just a matter of opinion and perspective. |

We already have a game that has a low population. We used to have more cities. We couldn't fill them. Cities went away. There has to be a balance. You want eight cities with less than a hundred people in each? The game doesn't function that way. There are endless options we could go with right now with the cities and districts we have (I do believe there are actually four districts per city and the fourth doesn't open until the others have reached a certain population. I forget.), however if the current leadership of the game doesn't want to fill them all then so be it. |

| When was the last time you saw all of the cities and all of the districts we currently have actually full and functional? | |

June...ish. Just before Latin's DT was cleaned we were pretty close, I think just CH and one district in LA wasn't filled though. I always love new cities, I remember pitching the idea way back when to have LA and LV brought back and that got shit upon, now look at things, a month later and they were up and running. Though the districts for CH and NYC were eventually downsized to balence having two more cities. The only way to add additional cities is to remove the entire district aspect, and truthfully I love districts because they add realism to our world so I'm against adding NO and FL even though I've always wanted to see Florida as a city on here. |

I'm for it if it means people can have a better chance of surviving during wars. And it would be something different than the same ones all the time.
It's okay if a lot of the cities arent full. Just means it'll take longer for a war to happen. And it gives crews time to get more members and possibly expand.
Wars happen a little too frequently for my liking and some crews end up with a huge advantage over others. |

A little part of me hopes that they'll change Durdens to where Delaware City opens up to travel to, and it's a big invasion of the city. |

Well, that would be nice -Prae. Though it would be a expectation of those Durdens to return fire due to the invasion of the city. On another note; there's no point in adding new cities while we barely have most of our cities filled, the ones we have now. |

We should be looking to fill all of our cities and their extra districts (Staten Island and Suburbs for example) before needing new cities to be added to the game. |
