The Philadelphian Butcher Part 4 Started by: Auset on Nov 01, '09 05:58

Drugs are bad; I had to taste its rotten filth the hard way,

Forgive me father, for I have sinned!

Revenge is not the way, it only relieves the pain for a
certain amount of time but the scar will still be there for ever. I made a
promise to myself that I will avenge my love's death. I know that what I did
was wrong, but I had no choice, my heart was filled with anger, hatred... there
are no words to describe the emptiness inside.

Young Auset, I understand that you did what you did for a selfish reason, and I
understand that you had no choice, but revenge is not the way. I shall pray for
your soul.

Thank you father.

Standing over the dead body of the drug dealer's son, I
heard foot steps outside the window, someone heard the gun shot, I snatched
open the curtains and there he stood.

I ran outside but he was already gone, it took him but a few minutes to run to
the cops, and tell them what he had seen, his witness statement cosseted me a
fortune, a few days later, the civilian became a gangster, and his gun was a
threat to me and my family, so I had no choice but to act.

The second day I went strait to his house, as I walked inside I heard a gun shot
coming from the bedroom, holding my revolver in hand I walked slowly towards
the bedroom door.

A note was left at the bedside table, it read:

I am sorry for what I've done!

I knew it was a matter of time until you find me

so I took matter into my own hands!

All covered with blood, I snatched it, and ripped it apart.

Frustration filled me, I didn't know she would go this far.

I walked out, Just across the street from were I was
standing, some children playing around with their toy guns start screaming, to
my surprise, a car drove by and started shooting randomly at the block, I jumped
out into the bushes right before I took my gun and started shooting back, but
it was too late.

The boy's name was jack junior, I knew his dad, he was a great man and a good
friend to the family.

The search began, and it never stopped until, one of my
bodyguards came to me and told me that there is a young woman outside who had something
serious to talk to me about, so I called her in.

You have crossed the line

but I had no choice, you killed my husband! She said,

Your husband deserved his fate.

No one deserves that kind of fate! She shouted!!

How dare you come into my house and talk to me like this! You sent out your own
brother to check on him and you knew that your husband is in danger and yet you
did nothing to protect him! Instead you killed your own brother in cold blood and
made it look like a suicide!

Her eyes turned red, and started shaking right before she
said:

What the hell are you talking about? You really think I would
kill my own brother? You're so blind you couldn't see the truth if it was
written right in front of you, the truth I came here to talk to you about, you
of all people should know that he never wanted his daughter to end up marrying a
Mafioso, it is time for you to know the truth, about your fiancé's dad!

Holding a glass of scotch in his hand and a cigar in the other,
Auset takes a deep breath, and prepares to continue his story...

Arsenal leans up a nearby phone booth smoking a cigarette as Auset starts his story.. After a few sentences, Arsenal begins to move closer to the narrator.. He gets more and more captivated by the story when suddenly, Auset lights his cigar and stops talking...

What? It can't end here..! What happened to him?? Oh well guess I'll have to wait for part 5 like everyone else.. Nicely done Auset!
