Dagenham_Marr searches around and grabs a milk crate and pulls it to the corner of a large building. He gets everyone's attention by firing a couple of rounds into the sky. A bird falls down and Marr thinks to himself "Oops, damned bird." Marr awaits a crowd to join around him and begins to speak. |

Rourke slyly slides into the picture and hands a fresh pack to Dagenham_Marr. It was an expensive brand of cigarettes. As Rourke was not a fag connoisseur, he was unsure which type was expensive so went with the comparison that it was just an expensive brand. He briefly offered an opinion to the man. |

I have no interest in being unique. I have interest in making sure my wallet is as thick as possible without pulling my trousers down with it's weight. If that means myself and Iota run our syndicate similar to how others run theirs, then I have zero problem with that. Where did this ridiculous fallacy come from anyway, that each city or family must present different ideas, to think outside the box? Our primary, indeed our sole, objective here is to make money. Not to amuse and put on shows. How many times did you see a Leader put on a show or competition before? That was nice and exciting and unique I bet; but how many times did it lose them money? Revolution? Change? Unless you can show me that the financial return from this is going to be worth it,then I'm sure I don't give a damn! |

To come out here and challenge the leadership of the city I call home, or to even insinuate such, is to walk a fine line. What can you tell me about leadership, kid? Sure, ol' pops may have knew something - but he ain't you. I worked hard for my family, and for Deimne's before this one. I went through the motions, making sure I had enough personal experience before I took an important role, hell - I even made my bones too. And you know what, in New York, I'm not special. Every single Leader in NY, as well as their slanties, have proved themselves. They are all personally experienced in New York matters, they are all men and women of honour. Maybe I'm a little old fashioned, but to me, that is leadership more than uniqueness is leadership. If you can give your members solidarity and consistency, in return they will trust and have faith in you. This is leadeship more than being unique and revolutionary can ever be. Perhaps the main objective of everyone is not to only make money. Then these people are in completely the wrong business, I can't see a reason to consistently and repeatedly break the law unless for financial gain. Can you? I like to help others too incidentally, in particular - 50 people who call themselvers Crackerjacks, and of course, New York as a whole. I'm not saying that I oppose change, I'm saying that I oppose change for it's own sake. If something can be implemented in my city that will lead to more stability, security and dollar bills - of course I will throw my influence behind it. If something can be implemented that will serve to satisfy a vague and abstract idealogy, then I just can't go with that. And you know what, maybe my not giving a damn is the problem with the world today. But you know what? I don't give a damn about that either. I give a damn about myself, my family, and my city - the buck stops there, because I am a Mobster and I understand the life I live. |

Firstly, I would like to ask how you figure you have the right to voice your opinion in these streets about anything regarding leadership. You are but an Earner and you have taken it upon yourself to address issues that someone of the hierarchy of a city deals with. If a city wishes to be "unique," that is their business. I have to agree with Noah-Levenstein on this one, the main purpose of being a mafioso is to make money. A leader should not go out of his/her way to be unique. They should do what is best for their family and their wallets. If a family went out in the streets and threw a competition everyday, they would lose a hell of alot of money. That is not what a leader should want. Bloedsuier nods respectfully to both Don Rourke and Consig Noah-Levenstein and takes his leave. |
