Once banned you will not be able to UNBAN people. A post from Anonymous will appear detailing how your bouncer has removed the unsavory character from your business. These posts DO NOT GET COUNTED ON THE MRSE. I repeat they DO NOT GET COUNTED ON THE MRSE. And banning people that are bringing RP talent, even if it is RPing an unsavory character who is throwing things, will risk removing a talented RPer from your business.

So use this wisely.

Furthermore this is only available to the bar owner, no delegates will be allowed access. Should you die and continue the business on a new name you will not gain access to this feature. It is, as we say, a one name offer.

Really good idea but since bars are becoming businesses, wouldn't it be a good idea to allow people to hire other people, possibly as bouncers? By default you could have "anonymous" fill in, but I think it would be more amusing to have an actual player control it. That could also be a new form of service, like you could receive a payday from the bar owner.

Why can't it be undone?

I agree with Spike, it seems the business district is more and more a business area more than just another forum. Although the forums will always be the basis and role playing will be a big factor in any business that goes on. However, in real life, there would be certain people that you wouldnt kick out no matter how roudy they were gettin just becuase they were big, or they had a name about town. Employing a character bouncer makes it alot more interesting. Its upto him to kick out the mob, but in some cases, does he want to?! if a group of consigs are sitting at a table and throwing dollar bills at your waitress, you might want them to leave but maybe you shouldnt have employed a wise guy to watch the doors? youno?

Just adds a whole nother dimension to the business district.

Spike and more specifically Youngsta raise a very interesting point. Perhaps the business owner can have the option to play the part himself but also the option to hire an associate to do it for him. The hired 'bouncer' can be brought to a screen similar to the wack screen after he presses the 'Boot Them' button, i.e. Name of person being booted and then where the whisper would normally be, they would RP kicking the drunken shlub out of the joint, rather than an automated Anonymous RP. It makes it unique, keeps it fresh and adds a very real game element. What kind of people do you kick out and what kind of people will you just have to put up with?

Awesome, the reason it is not undoable is so you will have to think very heavily before you boot someone from your business.

I think we should remember that the majority of mob businesses are intended to be fronts for various nefarious activities. This suggests to me that they are less likely to have an anonymous hired goon doing any chucking out, instead it would be someone trusted who would know what the real purpose of the business was.

Any riff raff would be far less likely to mess with a connected guy rather than a local heavy.

I would still like to see this linked back to the front owner's sponsor though. Other than that, a good addition.

I can recall a good many bar threads that dissolved into chaos because some yutz kept coming back and could only RP rape, mayhem and destruction.  This will help business owners who want to keep the RP going, minus the mayhem of people who can't "play nice."
