Motown Smoke House Started by: HarveyDent on Dec 10, '15 07:43
There comes a time when a man must expand his horizons and look toward the future. It was tough leaving the great city of Chicago. Alas, there is no time for tears or nostalgic crap, Harvey was getting ready to open his new establishment and he needed all the time he can get to get ready for the grand opening. Harvey's old man taught him the fantastic hobby of enjoying a good cigar and he wanted to honor his father by building a smoke shop in the great motor city.

Now the place was pretty spacious for a cigar joint. There were shelves stacked as high as the ceiling, lining the outer interior with humidors of cigars, and cigar ccessories, shipped from around the globe. I'm talking high quality cigars like hand-made Cubans, Montecristos, Alturo, CAO, Dixon, and many more. The middle stood a rectangular bar-counter which also supplied bags of tobacco in many brands.

As he entered from the back, Harvey could instantly taste that sweet smell of tobacco fill his lungs. He reaches for a King Edward, cuts the tip and lights it up. A few puffs later, he makes sure the place is spac and span and heads for the entrance.

Whilst out throwing stones into the windows of the many run down, derelic businesses strewn around the once great city's business centre Bender noticed one of the buildings had been done up recently. Curious, he strolls over. He reads the shop sign 'Smoke House'. This was candy to Bender's eyes. He was always a fan of cigars, the smellier and more obnoxious the better, he thought. If others weren't feeliong inconvenienced by his smoking habit it wasn't worth doing.

He entered, smelled the symphony of blends all at once, took a deep breath and said AHHH. He felt comfortable here, almost like it was his home. He races around the various sides and shelves, picking up ready rolled cigars and sniffing them, then putting them back and running to another to smell that, then running back again. He was acting like a kid in a candy store. He noticed there was tabacco he could make his own cigars with. This appealed to Bender greatly, as he'd only ever had pre-made cigars. Though he would need to practice, with the frequency he blew through cigars he'd get plenty of opportunity to get it right.

Hello there, HarveyDent ... What kind of blend would you recommend for someone like me? I want to make sure everyone else has no doubts that someone awesome is blowing cigar smoke in their face. Preferably I'd like something that could be lit from a corner of a gymnasium and be overwhelming for people huddled in the opposite corner. Heheheh.

Honesty felt like he could go out for a smoke. After a crazy day filled with Durdens, he had to blow off the steam somewhere. It was too cold to smoke outside though. Ah, Honesty could just reminisce over the beautiful night he had. All the dead Durdens he had killed. It wasn't everyday he got to kill people. Since he achieved a rank of high power, he had to be more careful roaming around the streets, more careful about the people he trusted and more careful with the people he conversed with. However, this night, he wanted to let it all loose. He went outside, not following his most trusted person's advice of staying in and started a whole lot of carnage. He could remember one Durden who was so scared he was shaking as if he had a disease within him. The Durden was hiding behind a wall and when Honesty walked through the hallway, he noticed him hiding and Honesty quickly swiveled around the corner and kicked the Durden in his jewels which made him crunch up and then Honesty kneed him in the face, knocking him unconscious. Honesty then took out a Colt out of his interior coat pocket and finished the poor fella who made a poor decision of joining the Durden crew. That was Honesty's favorite kill of the day. To be honest, Honesty never sees this much action. Most of the time, it's just him and his associates laughing a bunch. While Honesty was thinking back on the day, he noticed a smoke shop and Honesty was quickly intrigued. "Well, that's not something you see everyday, that's for sure." Honesty walked in and saw a man at a counter.

"Hello there, good sir. I was just thinking about having a smoke, would you know. What a coincidence! To be honest, I don't smoke much. Heck, I hate smoking, but I do it sometimes, only for celebratory purposes, which is extremely rare. So, for a man as inexperienced as me, can you tell me what I'm looking for?"

Harvey greets honesty at the counter and hears his plea of need.

"My friend, you have come to the right place. Gimme a sec and I'll get you a taste that will have you coming back for more."

He takes a moment to think of a cigar that would intrigue a novice such of Honesty. He then kneels down under the counter a takes out a small wooden box. He grabs a handful of mild cigars of variety and places them, neatly, into the box. He rises and places the wooden box in front of Honesty.

"What we have here are your array of typical mild cigars." Harvey continued, "Hyde Park Macanudos, Copenhagen, and Arturo. Now I didn't want to leave you empty handed, I figured to mix in some of my favorites and let you decide."

Feeling irritated and down right offended by HarveyDent ignoring Bender's custom. Despite the fact the unspoken rule is first come first serve he could at least appreciate why Harvey would choose to serve a New York Boss over him, however to ignore him completely was an unaccaptable thing.

Bender took one last look around the shop, paying particular attention to the windows, vents, ceiling and exits. Bender was going to taking cigars from this store one way or another. He had tried to be respectful, polite and even willing to pay for the priviledge of a good cigar. However that didn't work.

"I see how it is. You'll regret ignoring me." With that Bender takes one of the King Edwards, lights it, blows a cloud of smoke Harvey's way and walks out the shop with his middle digit raised towards the shop keeper. "Pfft, I aint paying for this... or any others I'll be coming back for shortly... So don't ask me again, chump!"

Bender exits, whilst smoking the stolen cigar. He heads to one of his associates hide outs in the city to obtain a set of breaking and entering gear.

After the tger robbery in chicago's Animal House, Bender knew that a vacant store in Detroit of all places would be a walk in the forrest to burglarize. The only question Bender found himself asking it whether or not he should also burn it to the ground whilst he robs it, to enjoy the accumulated tobacco harvest... or to just knock it over, leaving it open to steal from again in the future when he wants more Cigars.

Wandering round the city was fresh to him every building bigger, shinier and designed as if to to confound and confuse.  Wandering in to the store, he checked the notepad as he looked at the store name and address.

"I am looking for a gift for my cousin who i am visiting, i understand times are hard and transsport are difficult but would you happen to have any of these products available"

he had known the trend had grown for cheaper American made cigars, but he wanted something special

"but what i am looking for is a box of cigars, preferably hand rolled that would go with a nice smokey whisky and a seperate box for something more sweeter, preferably if drinking these fangled dangle cocktails people drink these days"
