Being a Sponsor Started by: Mad-Frank on Nov 08, '09 13:15

Mad-Frank pushes the big front doors of the Wolf Pack HQ open, stopping to light a cigarette while looking around at the mobsters in the street. He puts two fingers in his mouth and gives a shrill whistle getting everyone's attention, then begins to speak to the crowd.

"Good afternoon everybody. If I may take a moment of your valuable time to speak about my personal experience as a sponsor. Before I even became a sponsor I had to think about how I would approach the situation, I didn't want to let down my family or ruin my reputation within the family, Or damage our family's reputation with families across the map, And I didn't fancy the idea of taking a bullet because I couldn't properly educate a young associate on our Mafioso ways and rules. I also like to get to know what their opinion is on the whole system and the way we conduct our business. I think to find the right associate takes time and patience. I contact them to see if they are familiar with this thing of ours, if they are polite, respectful and not overly keen on shooting at people! When I first started out I had a lot of help from my family without them I would just be another dead gangster. I take all the knowledge that was given to me and try to teach it to my associates, I was nervous at first as to whether I had enough experience to be a successful sponsor.

It is difficult to find an associate worthy of the chance to one day bear the crest of The Wolf Pack.
After all you can never tell what someone is thinking, you can only attempt to determine what their personalities are by their answers to questions. If you ask them if they need any help and the reply is to "eat shit", they are not going to make it past a couple of days without making a fool out of me and my family. I would never allow that to happen. I personally think member whoring would be a waste of both my time and the associates; I would rather train them into good earners for the family.

I will always make sure they have read the tutorial thoroughly and any questions they have to ask I will always answer and explain in detail. Once I have sponsored the young thug, they will be directed to HQ to sign up to our rules. I am by no means the most experienced sponsor but I see my associates growing underneath our family, and if I have made the right choice and they are as loyal as I am to the family, they will advance and take on associates of their own and who knows - maybe one day they might make good leaders."

Mad-Frank thanks the crowd for listening to his speech, he tips his hat to them, Takes a cigar from inside of his coat, he spends a few lighting it before walking to his closely parked black Rolls Royce. Starting the engine then pulling out headed toward the Philadelphia golf club.

Arsenal listens and nods understanding Frank's point of view..

The sponsor position is not to be taken lightly.. One should not assume that it is simply a way to get tribute and become rich because like most good things it comes with responsibility..

Arsenal gets into his Thunderbird and drives after Frank for a nice swim..
