At daybreak, Lucretia looked out the window of her Valancian manor having just awoken from a long slumber. The events of the past few days had drained her of all energy, but a quick retreat to rest in her family's ancestral home always seemed to do the trick. Stretching to collect her wits as she looked at the yellow and orange of the sunrise, she realized that the real work was far from over; although she could rest at peace now, the rebuilding after the chaos would be a truly monumental task.

The relaxing calm of the morning was shattered by the clanging of the manor's sole telephone. Lucretia cursed herself for having such an intrusive device installed at what was supposed to be her home away from the hubbub, but knew that only a select few people had been given this number. Whatever it was, it was important, so she left the picturesque dawn behind and walked to the bed stand to answer the phone. The conversation was short and sweet. She was needed in New York. Lucretia boarded the first flight stateside, no explanation necessary.

Hours later, Lucretia stepped out of her new headquarters, ecstatic about the opportunity given to her by Godfather Deimne, but also nervous because she knew decorum required a speech at such an occasion. She had always been more comfortable serving her Godfather quietly, leaving the public speaking to the bolder ones in this walk of life. Well, that would have to change; now Lucretia would have to be one of those. And so she began, her speech to the small crowd that had gathered outside the new building.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I thank you for taking the opportunity to hear me speak here today. In the past few days we've seen a number of tragedies, and the damage to these cities is deep. The joy of setting up a new organization in the city of New York comes bittersweet from the aftermath of such a destructive war, but I shall nonetheless do my best to bring an honorable and profitable venture to the shores of the Hudson River. I look forward to continuing to serve Godfather Deimne as his newest boss and hope that I shall make him proud.

So with that said, I unveil to you the newly established House of Borgia! Though perhaps my ancestors in the day earned a name for their corruption, nepotism, infidelity, and Popedom, I hope that in due time I shall be remembered for more or less the opposite traits. Thank you all for listening!

With that, Lucretia steps back inside her new headquarters: there is much work to be done.

This is indeed an exciting time! Congratulations are certainly owed to you Lucretia_Borgia. Ive known your forefathers for a long time now. I know how hard they worked for this world in which we dwell. Ive watched from afar how you have served New York for months, dedicated and determined to reach the top. Well Ma'am, today you have.

He missed most of the speech, but arrived in time to overhear Deimna congratulating Ms. Borgia on her dress. Rourke pouted and frowned a bit but raised a glass of champagne to toast:
