In 1932, when he was on the hook for multiple murders, JamesOwen of the Durden Family became a government informant, helping the feds implicate many of The Hell Cooperative’s gangsters. On November 12, 1932, Owne died falling from a sixth-floor window of the Half Moon Hotel in Coney Island, where he was in police custody. It was reported that he fell while trying to escape (knotted sheets were found), but all know that he was actually pushed, by Boss Szatiglio so he couldn't testify against others, including Sinfest and Pyro.  This sent yet another warning out about what happens to rats in New York.

Ilammo was watching from a distance and couldn't suppress a smile when he heard that dull thud, of body hitting the concrete floor. It's always a nice feeling to tie up loose ends and this was no different. He tipped his hat as a form of respect for the recently departed, then climbed into his vehicle and instructed his driver,

"Back to HQ, buddy. We're done here"

Hearing the body hit the cold cement sidewalk brought a smile to Szatiglio's face as he looked up and gave a nod to Illammo standing on the street corner. Its not vengeance it is punishment for breaking the code. All rats will be EXTERMINATED!!
