Time: 09:00 Am Date: 19 December 1931 Location: Detroit Business District It was the first day for TheButcher in Detroit, he had just moved here the day before and he was looking for a job when he found one at this PostCard Shop. It was a small old shop, newly renovated and it was due to open today. As soon as you get into the shop, a big sign read: Welcome to The PostCard Shop The small shop was divided into different zones with postcards from all cities in the country and from all over the world were put in order according to distance from Detroit. So you get those from Detroit right on your left side once you enter, and those from different countries in sequence as per their distance from Detroit...etc The postcards were a very high quality ones, with a very nice taste in selections, be it nature, monuments, historical places, cars...etc It had a very wide selection of postcards and at an affordable price. They had a personalized postcards section as well, you can ask for anything you want, and you will get it specially made for you in a day or two, of course at a different price. It was a cold evening late in December as Tycho took a stroll down the business district of Detroit. The Christmas days had been fun with his family over in Los Angeles, but a meeting with business associates was the reason he arrived in Detroit today. The hotel Tycho checked into was almost deserted and out of boredom he went into town to seek out a nice bar.

Since his departure from Italy he had known he would stay on the run, leaving the army had been the best decision of his life, but it came with consequences after his conscription. He knew he would never be able to go back, but that was the way the world worked now was time to lead them astray. Shuffling through some Toronto post cards, he prepared for the long drive ahead as soon as he could find a car that would do the job to get him accross the border for a day or two away. "just these" he murmured to the cashier as he smiled as he slipped some takings from an old ladies purse over. |

Syn dashed down the street looking for a place to hide, he wasn't sure if he was being followed or not but he moved quickly, not looking back and making erratic decisions to make for a route that would be difficult to follow. He found himself at the business district and as he ventured deeper he let his guard down to find a place to hide in. A new place had just opened up and was selling post cards. He ran inside and found himself among an immense collection of pictured rectangles. How convenient! I finished that job for the boss and i'm in the best place in the world to send word that the job is done. Syn browsed the selection of post cards and found the most plain post card he could find. He frantically searched his coat for a pen, not finding one he checked his pockets. Still not being able to find one he checked his hat. A few moments passed and Syn realized he was looking for a pen in a hat. He just didn't have one, he must have left it at home. He looked around to see if he could find one laying around, after all this is a place where people write things. Nothing. No pens to be found. Defeated, he bowed his head and stared at the post card. All of the sudden a tug at his coat gained his attention, he turned around to see what it was and at first sight it appeared to be nothing... Until he looked down. Standing in front of him was a little girl, about the age of six. She said nothing but held up a red crayon for Syn to use. She must have been watching him frantically search the store, including his own hat for a pen. Syn smiled and she smiled back. He gently took the crayon from the girl and quickly wrote a message. BOSS, IT'S DONE S He reached into his coat pocket and pulled out a fifty dollar bill, he wrapped the bill around the crayon and handed the crayon back to the little girl who was still smiling up at him. Thank you little miss. Syn turned on his heel and made his way for the counter. He pulled out another big bill and set it on the counter next to the employee. Can you send this to Philly... today? |

Morte was traveling around Detroit when she noticed a little postcard shop, named precisely The PostCard Shop. Fitting.. She thought to herself before parking the rental car in front of the building. She had a few friends around the country that she wouldn't mind sending some cards to, so she exited from the car and pushed open the door into the business. Walking in, she noted the smell, and that it was actually rather crowded. She smiled at the thought of people knowing where she was. She thought they just HAD to know she was in Detroit. Not that they'd really care, she was sure, but she had never sent postcards before so.. today was their lucky day! She made her way around, picking up a few postcards here, a few there. She made her way up to the counter and spoke to the cashier saying, "I'd like to buy these, please, Sir." Laying cash down on the counter, she said with a smile, "Please keep the change. Thanks Sir, have a nice day." A pencil was laying on the counter so she grabbed it and held it up to show the cashier that she was going to borrow it, and she made her way over to a table by the window. She started on the first card and addressed it,
She started on the second card and addressed it,
She started on the third card and addressed it,
On the third card, she wrote the address,
