Adding another side to MR you know the good side.
what i mean is say when you create a new character you choose mafia or police so then when you are playing you rank on that side so when you are a police officer you go though all there ranks from recruit to commissioner and if you chose the mafia side everything would be the same as what it is right now.

When you are a police officer the commisioner runs a (PD) and you work under them

And police also have a feature so they can arrest people say like failed crimes any police officer online and in the city that the crime happend get a message or personal saying so and so did something arrest him or her and then they go arrest him or her but the only time that a police officer can arrest someone is if they get a message but also people can send them there personals though a special feature and people get arrested and also a commissioner is like a godfather they control the city but they control the good side.

Police also get something like crimes but its good things and they still get paid.

They can also die like every one else so they have no special abblities.

And there could also be a person that controls ALL of the citites a minister of police.

Also say when there is a war going on they are trying to stop it and it could improve gameplay for people that have been playing for a while becuase there could also be a war against the police not just against other cities.

One more thing if they chose to become a police officer once they join a group a (PD) they cant change cities

The title says it all..This will change MR game in a whole new level and it opens great features when this thing gets implemented..

I am 100% against this idea. If this was put into MR, it would become just another mafia game. It would become like mafiamatrix and injustice. That is exactly why MR has not added a feature such as this. Adding a police department would end up expanding into more careers, and frankly I love MR just the way it is. 

I appreciate your effort, but as I said, MR would be just like MM or IJ. It would basically be stealing ideas. Besides, MR has been the same way for at least 5-7 years. Why would we want to change that? I say stick to the code that is in place.

I agree with Bloedsuier, Adding this suggestion would turn this game the same as all the other mafia based games, which is precisely why i don't play them. Mafiareturns is unique and i sure as hell hope it stays this way.

I like the idea but I do think Bloedsuier and Santino are right. It would make this game the same as all the other Mafia games out there. I think there could be other ways to change the game that would still keep it's uniqueness.

It sounds fun, but I am not sure if this game would be able to pull it off. Just doesn't seem right for this game. GANGSTERS ALL THE WAY!

I like the idea, it would make MR more realistic. There would be a constant war with the cops so you could just whack them whenever u want.

That is a definite why i play MR... keep it MR... tho i mus add i'm really happy with all the new features added since i last played... guns up to the team for making some classy decisions.

hmm. this could really be good but if you become a Police officer instead of changing cities you transfer taking longer MUCH longer to reset the timer since its not a really big reason. and maybe have a choice to become a crooked cop as well doing a choice of either good crimes or bad crimes. if you become a crooked cop you could be hired or paid off by the crews maybe even go so far as to become a certain type of cop NARCs Assault etc

The-Reaper its a good idea i think they should have to be a certain rank before a crew can bribe you.

I also think that if they bribe you they can choose a certain thing to bribe you for like say if a crew gives you 500k you go sting another family (they choose) and if you decide to do it someone who is ranked made man or above gets jailed for like an hour but you could also decide to decline it and then the person who wanted the sting gets arrested.

And another thing is that if you get to the highest ranked police officer you can take peoples jail sentences down the only problem with the last idea is if its a friend they would always put it really far down.

I think its a really good idea and if it was properly implemented it could make things very interesting. I like things the way they are but this would make things a bit different. I think it would maybe take away a bit of the role play aspect though, it would just be about arresting people, bribing etc. which would be a downside.

yea tank i think think it would as well but what they could do is how often someone gets sent to jail is about as often as it would stay so say someone failed for a petty for the first say 10 times they get a lite wrist slap but as they fail more they have to go to jail. \

And from what i said before about a sting i was thinking about it a bit more and like all that could happen would say be the next person to do a felony (ranked made man or higher) gets arrested for an hour.

What about a political structure as well, like judges and senators. but that was only somthing i wanted to put out their and gave me time to think of why i hunted this topic down again, but what if when your a cop and lets say your real low level, like a cop on the beat, if you are caught doing something like getting a man out of jail early, or something a person on the criminal side does like drug running, you get kicked out of the force and become a criminal, which would be a bad thing if you constantly jailed people and you would get killed by vendeta or something.

Also it would keep illegal arrest from happening on a constant basis. Also only a cop could see how the system works, and this could create cop on criminal wars if the system where to be released, also cops could cut a war out short, simply by arresting heads of crime. and I don't know when the death penelty was created (im sure they had it in the 30's) they could arrest the crime leaders and depending what city they are arested in or even extradited to they can be executed. which would make it even more realistic. maybe even a person high on the police system could authorize any types of executions in their city.

Getting kicked out of the force thats a good idea if you got caught say bring bribe you could get kicked out but if you a senior member of the force you could be killed.

I also think there should be something like a hitsquad but in the force its actually coded in something like SWAT and if you get picked as part of the squad you would get called out in a war and you would also be alot harder to kill considering that they will be in groups of about 20 cops.

And just thinking about it with dfp's you would have to bribe police officers or the head of police before your time runs out or manually a police officer would have to go and raid the other officers (that could be the multi user crime for police)

Perfect Matt. And the SWAT was a nice touch. This is 100% perfect for a game so focused on Role Play.

This is certainly a good idea. That is why I looked it up. But the only downside is that it makes MR like the other games. What if instead of choosing to become a cop in the beginning only a certain amount of people could become cops? then it would make MR even more unique than other mafia based games.

fulmineojr I like his idea of max cops maybe make like 20 people in the beginning and until one becomes a criminal no one else can become a cop :)

20 could be replaced by any number just had it in my head
