Kinnerton Always Dreamed of Becoming a Gangster. Started by: Kinnerton on Dec 21, '15 09:22
Life in the states was fucking awesome. There was a lot of broads to bang, and a lot of cocaine to sniff. Kinnerton was doing his own thing, snatching purses and robbing corner stores. But he knew that eventually he'd have to start doing work for one of the local crews. It was disrespectful for a guy to pull jobs in someone's city, without paying their tributes.

That's why Kinnerton started doing jobs for the recruiters. They was all trying to get him to work for their respective crews. Kinnerton didn't have a fucking clue as to who people were. He didn't know the big boys from the small timers. He was nothing but a petty thief, but he wanted to become a gangster. He'd always dreamed of starting off as a gangster, and eventually becoming a goomba in an outfit.

Kinnerton had just snatched an old ladies purse, in Downtown LA. He'd ran off and turned a corner, when he bumped into someone dressed sharply in a suit. Kinnerton didn't know who this smartly dressed person was. But they definitely looked important.

"Wow, sorry about that mister... I didn't see you there. Oh this purse? I found it okay! Don't call the cops!" Kinnerton yelled to the mysterious person.

He threw the purse to the ground, and turned to run off in the opposite direction, but the person grabbed Kinnerton by the arm and stopped him.

Swarley took a good look at the kid and the outfit he was wearing, more specifically. The clothes seemed a bit tattered and could probably use an update. The purse laying behind him seemed incriminating, but Swarley was all too familiar with that life.

"Hey kid, I think you dropped that," Swarley says, pointing to the purse. "I'm sure there isn't much in there, but you don't want to just leave evidence laying around. There are cops crawling all over this place looking to put away hardworking gentlemen like yourself."

Kinnerton hesitantly looks back at the man standing before him, before retrieving the purse. Holding it up before him, Kinnerton watched as Swarley reached in and removed the cash.  After counting it out, there was just over hundred dollars.

"Here, kid. Keep it," he said stashing the money in Kinnerton's front pocket. "You look like you could use it. In fact, here's a few thousand on me. Why don't you buy yourself a new suit and visit me on the East Coast some time?"

Swarley hands over a neatly wrapped roll of hundred dollar bills and a business card reading - The Playbook - Bronx, NY. There was no other address or contact information to be seen. Kinnerton looked up to question his motives, but Swarley was already walking off into the distance at a brisk pace.
