"Damn !" - He thinks while the rain thickens above him.

It has been a couple of weeks since he messed up that job in the docks. Surely all of this has something to do with that failure.

He moves his umbrella in attempt to protect his body from the falling water, but the wind was blowing just too strong. Anyway the cold was the last thing on his mind right now.

After that lousy mistake he spent every second of his days waiting for getting grabbed into a van or trapped in an alley. But that didn't happen. Instead he just got some unexpected kind words of forgiveness and nothing more. Very strange, it wasn't the way the Don used to run his business.

"Damn!" - He swallows his mixed emotions

It all began when he returned home by noon just to find out two fbi agents had invited themselves for lunch. They made the usual scene, they told him they already knew what was going on, that they could link him with a bunch of unsolved crimes and all he had to do to get rid off it was cooperate. Humpf, it was obvious they were completely lost and shooting in the dark. Anyway, he could never betray his own Godfather and family.

He had played his cards well and was sure to be free of trouble. He tried hard to remember if he let anything slip in that friendly dialog with the pigs. No, he was certain to have been misleading, even when they asked about his trip to the docks the night before.

"Damn!" - He unsuccessfully tries to light a cigarette in the pouring rain.

Why is taking so long for them to get here? He smells trouble. He turns his thoughts back to the incidents from his last job. How the hell that happened? He mentally redoes his steps from that night. Did someone follow him, were there anyone in the streets when he got out? He remembers noticing some lights just fading when he left his garage, or was that just his imagination.

"Damn!" - He gives up and put his lighter away. Memory from that night is so scrambled already.

But now he has to focus. First it was the mercy and the silence, now these unusual orders. Something was going on, he was sure. This was something a simple thug could handle, with the proper intimidation and instructions. Definitely not a job for a Wise Guy like him self.

"Damn!"- He mutters one last time before entering the car that had just arrived.
