| Bribe on behalf of an associate | Started by: Gaenvan on Nov 19, '09 19:59 |

The title pretty much says it all. It would be great if we could bribe the FBN agent on behalf of an associate or another family member. |

Well, firstly, you can do that. By simply sending them money, which in the long run would end up costing you less. For, if you were bribe for them, you would pay your cost for the bribe. If they bribed, their cost would be much less. Also, I do not believe you thought this suggestion out very well. You have a two sentence explanation saying that the suggestion is in the title. Please refer to the threads entitled "Suggestions (Check Here First)" and "Posting Suggestions..." for proper suggestion form. |

Death sits back and thinks to himself. What are you talking about? I am lost as of right now. You can transfer money to another player on here. What would you bribe for in return though? |

Yes, you can transfer money to another player, but that's an added step. If I was able to bribe the FBN on behalf of an associate I'd do it directly. In a world built around having to have someone 'vouch' for you this fits the theme. Also, not that it has ever happened to me, but if it's a new associate that you don't really know yet, you can be sure that the money is used for the FBN and not just banked. |

Why have the game code all this stuff for you when the point is the interaction? |

I agree with GingerAle. This is a roleplaying game, and if you add something like this, it will make it more buttonclicking. Not only that point, but the point I made in my last post. It would be cheaper to send them the money. Also, if you are doing it so they can increase their drug units, what happens when they are not longer an associate? They will be stuck as a Made Man and have to tip the FBN agent themselves. This is an all-around bad idea and you did not think it out very well. |

I think... The point that this fellow is trying to make isn't about the interaction, but time. |

Or maybe, I have the wrong end of the stick and he's not talking about DFPs at all. In which case, sorry, I have to agree with everyone else. |

JakeWhite, if he is talking about a DFP then I still have to disagree. |
