Half in the Bag Started by: RedLetterMedia on Jan 02, '16 01:06

In the depths of an old mossy encrusted house, lies a living room made in the 17th century, the fine recalling factors of the eroded brick giving that authentic looks of old yet a scent of inheritance that the past left behind, a sledge hammer is smashed through the front door - following through the debris lays a silhouette of a large creature - the embodiment of gluttony and arrogance, in twined into a extended flesh bag, carrying a beer bottle. Throwing himself onto the stool as it the sound of creaks and cracks echo throughout the abandoned establishment - he sets up himself to squat, behind him is his friend and troubled duplicate as he looks around the place, he lets out three simple words;

"Oh my god~" With a cold beer and a half a beard he joins his friend to sit down. Looking in front of them is a Radio with a pair of microphones and a gramophone next to it, "Who you think owned this pl-" before Jay could finish his sentence - Mike throws his beer bottle towards the window as the clank vibrates - Jay starts to laugh as it jump cuts to Mike,

"So Jay, did you watch Age of Gold,"

"I hate movies,"

"Oh."

As the drinking and nonsensical talking continues - A bottle of alcohol is stuffed into a bag of pop corn as it over fills, with the anger of not being able to fill the bag - a cane is swiped as the man behind it gives out into the the radio Microphone;

"HALF IN THE BAAAAAAAAAAAA~"

With what seems to be the stage of the new and refined persona's of minority con jobs within Las Vegas - living inside the abandoned or over staying their time on a simple job of fixing Radio's for people, Jay opens his eyes as he sits up - with his beard frazzled and bits of corn stapled to his face - Jay begins to stumble to his feet - somehow a bear bottle is clamped in his hand still full. Taking a swig of the bottle before looking towards the table full of empty bottles - a simple swipe of the two arms, spilling his drink but more worse off breaking the continuous stream of bottles that seem to pour on the floor.

Finally sitting down on the small chair filled with a type of padding - Jay puts his feet onto the table as he hears a noise outside, the sound of bells echo throughout the room - his eyes open up as he begins to smile in amazement, following through Mike is coated in dirtied Santa suit and what seems to be curdled milk with crumbs of cookies surrounding him. With dried blood partially on his left check, running down to his left hand - he grasps a hatchet, in a dulled and numb voice, Mike begins to speak:

"Merry Christmas, Jay," Mikes pauses, as he turns his eyes in a thousand yard stare,

"Where have you been, plus your like ten days late.." Jay responds not sure on what to do, Mike responds in somewhat a sudden light change of tone,

"Well, Jay - I was watching the new movie called; 'A Christmas Accident',"

"I saw that as-well, I thought it was okay, just I don't know how to lip read," Jay pauses as Mike cuts in straight away,

"I can't see with all this shit in my eyes," With Mike rubbing his eyes, crumbs and curdle pour out of his lashes, as Mike looks at himself, he questions, "Why am I covered in blood?" Jay shrugs.

Plinket walks through the front door, as he just begins to speak - a news paper is thrown straight into the back of his head, severely damaging his skull - continuous non-nonsensical screams fade in the background as Jay picks and opens the newspaper up;

"Oh my go~d,"

"What Jay?"

"Says here, 'Three hundred children in Las Vegas's Local orphanage was expecting presents, instead they got a lumps of coal and all their limbs are missing."

Jay looks towards Mike, as Mike throws the hatchet behind him - as a scream from plinket exclaims, Mike then picks up a fresh beer with his blood stained hand and starts to drink.

With each passing day another hangover for the two Radio repairmen - the embedded glass of the broken bottles seem to turn into resting ground for the two as a pillow filled with broken glass pierce the cotton. Sitting up from their menagerie of drunken nights in - Plinket still lying down in his own blood attempts to get up, with cracks and squishing sounds - Plinket takes his cane and uses it as support bringing him to his feet;

"How long have I been out?" Plinket questions to himself, looking onto the destruction of his house - he begins to speak again, "That's it, I'm sick of this shit!" Hitting his cane against the wooden floor - glass sound exclaims, with a face of confusion, Plinket's stern stance yields results as the two begin to speak somewhat simultaneously;

"WHAT THE FUCK PLINKET!"

"Yeah! We're still recovering, you old fuck," With Jay and Mike fully awake - they start to stumble their feet, with glass sticking out of parts of their body - Mike starts to stretch as Jay has a bottle in his hand as he begins to take a sip. Plinket steps in as he attempts to open the front door,

"I need to get this hatchet out of my spine and new blood, when I come back - I want my Radio fixed so I can listen to old people talk about dreadful things that have happen over the course of the day, if it's not fixed - you're both fucking FIRED!" With that, Plinket reaches for the door handle - yet the door falls forward, with his tinted shades - he growls as he walks out towards the door, screaming in pain comically.

With the two now fully alert - Mike looks towards Jay,

"Oh no Jay, you heard Plinket, what're we going to do?"

"It's okay, it's okay. What we have to do is-" Before Jay finishes his sentence, Mike finishes it,

"Watch bad movies and review them to each other?"

"Well no, but that can work too!" With that the two swipe, kick and throw bottles out of the way, as they pile up high in the corner of the room.

As they both sit down, Mike chugs the last remaining remnants of his beer and looks around in confusion for a while - looking towards the table, he attempts to place the bottle on the table but ends up throwing it behind him against the wall - the sound of broken glass hits the floor, colliding with other pieces of glass, Jay looks as if nothing happened as the lights turn off and a voice appears;

"End of part one"

A voice that sounds like Jay appears after,

"What the fuck was that?"
