In light of recent events (ConaIF), I have come forth to make a suggestion regarding associates and HQ threads.

It has been pointed out many times that an associate is not truly IN the family. The HQ is a family thing. Therefore, my suggestion would be a stricter control over associates.

One of two options:

Associates only be able to look at certain HQ threads. This would be determined by the CL. Like a one click all button. All associates be able to read the rules and the basics.

My other option is that a CL can go through their associates and individually give them the rights to look at certain HQ threads. This would help in the instance that a former family member died in a war and their son or daughter came back. Obviously the leader would trust them a bit more and share more information with them.
