All that has been achieved by this course of action is irritating a lot of powerful people. Numerous bloodlines insulted in this speech will now hold a grudge against Stephens and Gaspipes bloodlines. You couldn't one shot Scipita, couldn't shoot paul, and couldn't have shot Premeir when he was alive, so what was the plan?

Even with all of the power Stephen had, he could never take Philly. There were two crews in his city, neither were with him, and very likely would have gone against him. New York and Philly are allies, and New York has seven crews, Philly has four. Mathematiacaly, you were at a clear disadvantage.

Even more so, on the near impossible chance you did wipe Philly clean, what would you do then? Move your crew there? All the other cities would be after you. You would be a rogue who killed a godmother and her crew leaders. You wouldn't last.

Why remove a bumbling and incompetent foe only to present the possibility of more talented opposition filling the the shoes of the idiotic? The way I see it, this was played brilliantly. The Godfathers had their enemies close, keeping a watchful eye on their cretinous adversary whilst he laboured under stupendous delusions of grandeur. Judging by the hilarious Grammauta family trait of killing oneself; along with the continued prosperity of Leaders who aren't morons, it seems fairly obvious who's won this particular battle.

If you read my thread, I was well aware of the odds being hugely stacked against a move being made against Philly.  I also said that Scipita was viewed by us as a steadying influence.  Prem was viewed as an immature social inadequete who didn't care how many of his own guys were killed in his idiotic quest for 'respect'.  Later events showed that our analysis was correct.  Jono, a man I had respect for but viewed as an enemy, fell as as result of Prem's war.  Which left RJ-Fuller who, frankly, wasn't really worth bothering about.  Paul is one of the best CL's in this thing of ours.  As for my family of thugs, a substantial amount blossomed, got Made (and above) and the move into other families was seamless and bloodless.  We ran our outfit tight and got things done.  Bobblegob is like a minature Prem,but without the power, and Grassboy was behaving like he was Tutti deCapo Tutti without even getting GF.

How, it has come to my attention some some in the Philly thing might well have known who we were - and it makes me wonder why no move was made.  It's been said that a move against us was coming.  Which would have played right into our hand.  But, we'd have known if such a thing was going to occur before it did.

So why didn't they move? 

Again, I want to reassert that it was probably much easier to just leave you be. You never proposed a threat to Philadelphia or any other city; nor would you have done so. Had Godmother Scipita 'moved on you', she would probably have risked more. Why? Because the faint possibility of her gun exploding or her members catching her in the crossife posed a more real threat than you ever would have.

To add a concrete example of your bumbling nature; you asked me, a consigliere from another city, for a start up loan. Is there anything that embodies 'bumbling' more than that? Not only did you not have sufficient funds at the beginning of your auth;but you chose to alert a total stranger to this fact.
