Jack had been watching this young fellow from the back of the room. He was handing out cigars to certain folk, but as Jack had got up to go and get one, the guy got up himself, muttered something then left the room. Finding his behaviour very peculiar, Jack sat back down. 

"What a strange fellow." Said Jack, chuckling away to himself. He sunk his head back into the book he was reading. 

Dangermouse was Caffeines son, He stared at the man with friendly eyes "you look glum friend have a cigar" *he threw it into Jacks lap, tipped his hat and left with a great big smile*

Jack looked back up from the book he was reading, because someone else had just thrown a cigar into his lap. It was a little unexpected, and it took Jack by surprise. He noticed that it was the son of Caffeine, DangerMouse who had thrown him the cigar. Jack picked it up, nodded to the man, and hitched it up. He pulled an ashtray closer to himself.

"Much obliged, kid." Replied Jack. He took a few drags of the cigar, and emerged himself back into his book. It was turning out to be quite a good read.
