The Misfits Hotel and Casino was packed with friends to the family from the six cities, celebration was in order: Aztec was being officially recognized as the Godfather of Las Vegas. Booze, women, gambling and shooting durdens had filled the city for days, and now the celebrations had to end: people needed to go back to their business. However, there was still an annoucement to make. It was at the end of the dinner, mobsters were eating, talking loudly, laughing and telling stories about that time they did some crime with Aztec. The Las Vegas Misfits Mafia upper structure was all sitting at a stage table. Aztec signalled to the band and the music stopped. Quickly all the non-Mafia people left the room, and everything turned quiet with all the attentions turned to the stage table. Aztec nodded in ThomasSpurgeon direction and he took the hint. Thomas walked to the center of the stage. "Friends and family, it is my pleasure and with an enormous sense of responsibility that I'll be setting up under Aztec here in The Strip. I won't bore you with a long speech, but I have to recognize and thank six very important people today. Aztec, for obvious reasons, and for much more than I can even say. George_Papadopoulos, Dillon and SonnyMac for everything I've learned from them, and how incredible it has been working with them. And MrManson and HenriDucard for starting Squadra Azzurra with me." Aztec got up and raised his glass. "May neighbors respect you, troubles neglect you and angels protect you!" |

The last few days had been quite busy for Henri, especially the last few hours. Preparing to move into a new HeadQuarters and lining all of the transfers up took its toll, but it finally seemed like things were settling down. He was still half hungover from the celebratory party after Aztec's GodFather ceremony. It was glorious. But now it was time to really settle into the business aspect of things. Henri didn't often go out into the Streets, he preferred to stick to the shadows and listen in rather than speak, but this was a special occasion and one that absolutely warranted his public appearance. Walking through the crowd and up to Aztec, Henri smiles before embracing the newly promoted GodFather of Vegas. "What can I say that hasn't already been said my friend? I think I speak for all of us here in Vegas when I say it's about damn time!" Henri winks and nudges Aztec's shoulder. "No, but in all seriousness, very well done. We all have been anxiously awaiting this day for quite some time. It warms my soul to know that our city is expanding, and I've no doubts about your leadership. Just don't let the new title get to your head!" Henri chuckles to himself, nudging Aztec again before turning his focus towards ThomasSpurgeon. Clasping the mans hand in his, Henri shook it and presented him with an astonishing looking cigar box containing half a dozen of the finest cigars his new Smoke Shop had to offer. "It had been an absolute pleasure getting to know, and working with you within Aztec's HeadQuarters. I have no doubt it will be just as if not more of an exciting time standing by your side and helping this family and city grow into something more stupendous than it already is. May our business ventures be ever prosperous and our relationships ever-growing." |

A long day it has been, hearing the news of Aztec becoming the now official Godfather of Vegas, even making it quick enough just to hear Thomas's new indictment to work under Aztec under the name of Squadra Azzurra, Ibarra simply clapped and kept a short grin on his face after the party, hearing the stories of past crimes and even some of the past hits and how things have gone lately in the past month. But it was time, now that Aztec has been made the Godfather of Vegas, expectations are now that it will soon prosper like it has once again. "Congratulations, now appointed Godfather Aztec and Don Thomas for your success. Vegas will now prosper knowing that we have such a fine history to rebuild under your names, friends such as MrManson, associates as HenriDucard and the rest of the made members that I been working alongside with after sometime. Aztec you have done an amazing job managing Las Vegas, now it is time that we do for the better and rise in excellence. People like Dillon as well has shown us all guidance and prosperity, there is no better reward than hard work and the chances we take for the better!" He exclaimed as he finally took a single sip of his drink and nodded along, it was a busy day after the party now that Aztec was appointed the Godfather, his ceremony was for the better and alongside the other made members who have chances to now build a crew under Aztec in Las Vegas, it was more than a mark for history. |
