And so we went to war

Was what was said prior to SpikeS, the eternal traitor, left the room abruptly to go to the bathroom, the courteous Leader Kimble held the door open for us as we exited the boardroom. As Jeddy passed the door a loud bang and crash could be heard behind him. It appears that an explosive was set off, gravely wounding Kimble. In the panic the surviving officers mobilized and made for the escape route. Jeddy knew his agents would operate in the shadows and fulfill their objectives, and that the acquired wealth was stored away safely, long locked in vaults deep underground and in coves long forgotten. 

Jeddy made it to his backup vehicle and made his way to the safehouse. Turning on the radio, he hears words of oncoming violence and bloodshed throughout the outskirts of the city and were closing in. Looking through his rear-view mirror Jeddy sees a blast of light and flame coming from JackRuby's vehicle, and knew then and there that we were betrayed. 

Driving away, Jeddy made it to the designated Kimblebunker along with very few of the other senior staff. Taking up residence they began their plans of retaliation. 

Deputy Leader Sinfest was recognized as Kimble's successor and immediately after ordered Asylum to assassinate Cato. The assassination was successful but Asylum did not report back as instructed, leading to assumptions of his demise. Philadelphian buttonmen, led by Ronin, arrived en masse to the city and began the firebombing of Morningwood businesses, behaving like barbarians with the looting and murdering of both mafiosi and civilians alike. SpikeS smirked at his work, let the peasantry take the heat while he went for the head, and with Asylum taking the bait and shooting Cato, that meant one more man off both his lists. SpikeS went onward with a few of his men to scout out potential safe houses used by Kimble.

As the night drew on more covert operations were conducted, but the inevitable was quietly known. With retreat impossible, New York's finest began their final stand as the bunker was surrounded and breached. Casualties were on both sides, and many of Jeddy's bodyguards protected him with their lives as Jeddy fell deeper into the bunker to destroy more secret papers, protecting the cover of his men out in the field. Telling Ilammo to go on, Jeddy draws his 1908 luger pistol and aims it down the hallway. Taking a moment in the eye of the storm, Jeddy reaches down his chest and pulls out a capsule, and opening it with his left hand, takes out a white pill capsule marked with a skull and crossbones. Placing the pill softly between his upper and lower jaw, Jeddy cocks the slide of his pistol and waits calmly for his time to come.
