It was a long day Calamity just got off his flight Las Vegas. From the airport he haled the first taxi he could get to take him to his favorite bar in the Bronx. It was a lonely little shack down some back ally that not many people had frequented. To get to the bar first you had to walk into the store front for some old typewriter business and tell the clerk, a gentlemen in his late 50's who wore spectacles and had lost most of his hair, I wish to inform you that your traps are not set. The clerk would then take you to a dusty old closet room full of type writers and knock on the wall 7 times. The wall would then open up and 2 bouncers escorted you to the speak easy. Calamity often came here alone and he would reminisce about the stories his father would tell him when he was young. He told him stories of a strong New York that was a Juggernaut. They pure military might was unfathomable. As Calamity got older he realized that New York just like everything else bleeds and the stories of his father were just that stories fables created by an old man who really didn't get anywhere in life. He thought that he was on top of the world but in reality he wasn't he hadn't even scratched the surface. No one knew him no quoted him. One day his father realized that he life meant nothing and he decided to end it right then and there. and only four people payed respect to his father. His fathers death was unexpected he was a nice guy with a sunny out look on life. Calamity decided to learn from the mistakes of his father he wasn't about to let his life be thrown away. He was going to leave a legacy in the best way he knew how. He was going to tell stories but unlike his father he wouldn't hide them away for no one to see he was going to put them right out on the streets for all to come and listen to what he had to say. Even if he went no where in life Calamity was determined to not be forgot like his father. He wanted the entire city of New York grieving over their loss when he finally kicked the bucket. Not all of his stories are true but all of them have little glimmers of truth in them. not all of them would be about him either many times the characters would change in Calamity's stories. But he finally decided to let the world know what he had to say.
