Scams are part of the mafia. Scam someone of $3,000,000, great! However, there is a line - and an easy way to protect yourself. Credits are part of the game that at one point in time were paid for by a user with actual in real life cash. Because of this, scamming anything to do with credits is off limits. To protect yourself, always use the Marketplace to do your transfers. The marketplace is coded so that no one can get screwed, you only get credits when you pay for them with game cash, or on the other side, you only get game cash when you pay for them with credits. When you deal directly with users and bypass the marketplace, you run a risk of them being dishonest. Sooooo, that being said, the safest way is to use the marketplace - nothing can go wrong. When you blindly send someone money or credits on a deal worked out via mobmail - you run the risk of them being dishonest. If someone wants to trade with you via mobmail - thats fine, just setup your agreed upon price and do the transaction on the marketplace to protect both the buyer and the seller from possible mishaps :) Cheers, Izzy |

That's correct guys, the marketplace is totally infallible and should always be first port of call for all credit related needs. However, if for any reason you don't want to use it - please drop me a mail; I am always happy to act as a totally non-shady middleman in any deals! |

It's sad people fall for those scams. I feel bad for the ones who do, but that's the risk you take not using something like the marketplace when it's available to all. It's always best to play it safe. |

And I think it's awesome that RL cash is finally getting some worth in here. I think that whoever generates the credits in the first place by donating deserves that much and perhaps more for bringing RL life resources in here. |
