| Canceling A Spawned MIA | Started by: Morte_Rossa on Jan 21, '16 17:05 |

I'm not sure if this is quite necessary as I should have been able to stop myself from spawning said MIA.. but.. I didn't and.. Now I wish I could CANCEL the MIA I spawned. I'm not sure exactly how much work this would be to code this in. A cancel option.. But it would be pretty cool. Say, being able to cancel it and get half of your credit back maybe? Thanks for the time spent reading this idea. :P |

If you don't have the competence not to spawn an MIA when you don't mean to.. you probably shouldn't even have a gun. |

I'm meaning it more for if you forget there's Durdens, or forget you're over your limit. People do forget sometimes if they've gotten into the habit of just spawning an MIA every hour or something. |

I understand what you mean Morte_Rossa but I don't think its possible to do what you're asking. Sometimes shit just happens. I know I fuck up my MIA spawns on the occasion. |

Don't really know why people are jumping all over this. Seems like a solid suggestion to me if it is within X amount of time from spawning, i.e. 60 seconds. |

Right now, it is a terrible suggestion only because of how cheap credits are on the marketplace. Once the marketplace calms down, even then it would be a somewhat iffy suggestion, seeing as how it doesn't go against your MIA count unless you kill it. If you're strapped for credits, you just shouldn't be using the MIA feature unless you're absolutely sure you're going to be able to get the +1. Mistakes happen, but how often does this mistake even occur? Would it get a lot of use in the first place? I personally doubt it. |

I don't think it is a terrible suggestion, regardless of the credit price. This is ultimately fixing an error of mistakenly spawning something you don't want and given the amount of times I've seen mails of "free MIA", I guess it actually happens more than you think. |

This idea would be legit amaze-balls, but sadly Morte_Rossa its not plausible :( Simply because you in the very essence just created a "player" -and I use that term loosely, but to be honest here, it should be away for someone to cancel said account before it reaches"maturity" ie, before your MIA turns kill-able. That would be awesome. |

This is one of those things where, I think I kind of have to put my foot down and say no. We already give you a confirmation dialog box that you confirm that you really want to spawn it to avoid spawning it unless you 100% are sure you want it. I think there are so many other things we can put our resources into than coding in a 3rd layer of confirmation/abort into the game. I am not opposed to the feature, I just cant dedicate the resources to do it. Writing this in means we are not going to get a feature that the userbase as a whole can regularly benefit from. |
