Clearly, the people who decided to just throw trash around did not actually read the poster but simply picked a specific point on which they could argue for hours. However, I believe that the poster had a wider, more general point than how Uh-Huh was getting pro-wackers. It seems to me that the whole point of this post was to attempt to expose the growing under-current of displeasure with the current leadership. Yes, the people may have been descendents of Three's family members. But, I'm sure this wasn't true in all cases. From just listening to the conversations on these streets, in the coffee shops, and in the pubs it seems that there is a detachment from the leaders & their decisions. The leaders don't care about their Family's (except of course the few "golden" members). The rest of the family simply wants the ability to grow in this world. When leaders decide to set rules and then break them or when they just choose to disregard the thoughts of their members it alienates the family. Now, I know that leaders can do whatever they wish without explanation. It is part of what they earned by getting their bold pin. However I believe that a balance must be struck. When a leader shows no self-regard and simply goes off the instructions of others, are they truly a leader or are they a puppet? When you don't bother to find out the truth, then the truth remains buried forever. It seems to me that Oliver_McTavish has no regard for themselves or their family. I'm not sure what is going on in that family, as I've never entered the HQ, but all my perceptions lend towards the fact that as a leader Oliver falls quite short. Perhaps I pick on Oliver because my family line is the descendant of a member of Three's family and I am bitter. I acknowledge that possibility. I do not believe it to be true, though. If anyone knows of my family line, then they know that we are not usually for complaining just for complaint's sake. I simply feel that a leader should lead of their own accord & not simply rely on the instructions and information of certain people. Information is good, and the only way to get it is usually through people, but do some more looking before you go biting off a large chunk of the community. For, just like some of the pro-wackers were descendants of Three, they were in many people's crews. But most probably in the crews that were against their Fathers & Mothers. So simply, you are what you eat. If you want to go to war, expect retaliations. In my humble opinion these risks should not be taken without a good measure of thought and research. |

Your argument in logical form: 1) Oliver has no regard for his family. 2) I have no evidence for this. 3) Therefore Oliver has no regard for his family. 4) Therefore Oliver is a bad leader. See if you can find the logical errors yourself. |

How can you truly form an opinion on the leadership qualities of someone whom you've never been led by? Not only that but could it be possible (GASP!) that you are a bit biased since your forefathers (or mothers) were at odds with said leader and were even killed off in or due to a war with McTavish? |

You see GStar-Raw that feeling that you are feeling right now that has you so upset that you have to go to the streets and let the world know your opinion is simply petty jealousy for Oliver_McTavish and our crew. But no worries here because we expect that. We are one of the families that's on top and have been for some time now. People tend hate the best and the brightest when they know that they personally can't reach that level. So what's their defense? Bash the top dog and hope that others will join them. Other people who can't reach that level too mind you. The way I see it you have two options. Option one would be to rise to a level where you are authed to get your own family, run that family and make them one of the best of the time and knock our family out of it's spot. Option two would be to continue to whine and cry about how things are run now. I don't know you personally but I'm thinking you are more of an option 2 kinda guy right? |
